For all music fans across the globe, YouTube is hosting this year’s Front Row Coachella 2022 from Apr 15 to 17 and Apr 22 to 24.
Fans can watch the live performances of their favourite artists, behind-the-scenes, artist interviews, and more exclusive content through their screens.
For the first weekend, viewers will have three different livestream feeds to choose from that will air different performances simultaneously. There will also be replays of the performances available on the last day of the first weekend. Viewers can set their reminders on Coachella‘s official YouTube channel.
The second weekend provides content such as encore performances, artists commentaries, and mini documentaries of the festival.
YouTube is organising different events on top of livestreaming the concert to ensure that virtual Coachella will be a lot more immersive and inclusive.
Viewers can experience the live festival through popular YouTube content creators such as Larray, Kaiti Yoo, and The Beverly Halls. They will be documenting their Coachella experience from the YouTube Shorts Compound.
Global fans can also shop for exclusive Coachella merchandise through YouTube Shopping. Some custom merchandise that fans can look forward to are from artists like Billie Eilish, BROCKHAMPTON, and Flume. Their items will be available for purchase on Apr 16 and 23.
Specially curated playlists are also created for global fans to enjoy. These playlists feature some of the songs that will be performed during Coachella.
YouTube Premium members will also get special access to six Premium pre-parties. In the first weekend, fans can expect performances from Cordae, 88rising and Banda MS. This is followed by Omar Apollo, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and beabadoobee on the second weekend.
Premium members will also get to engage with their favourite artists in real time and enjoy their “must-see” Coachella festival sets on their respective YouTube channels.
Fans can check YouTube Music’s Instagram and Twitter pages for real-time updates, highlights, or special content for the event.
