Yiruma to perform at The Star Theatre on Apr 15, 2023
General ticket prices range from $98 to $188.
Iconically known for his world-renowned hits such as River Flows in You and Kiss The Rain, South Korean pianist and composer Yiruma will perform at The Star Theatre on Apr 15, announced Mode Entertainment on their social media platforms on Wednesday (Oct 5).
The pianist last performed in Singapore four years ago for his Yiruma Live in Singapore 2018 concert. Although he was scheduled to return in March 2020, the concert was postponed to June 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions and subsequently cancelled.
Fans can expect a medley of Yiruma’s emotional and rousing tunes, with hits such as When the Love Falls, Piano, May Be and Reminiscent.
One of the world’s leading composer-pianists, 44-year-old Yiruma released his debut album Love Scene in 2001.
His 2011 compilation album The Best: Reminiscent, 10th Anniversary debuted at number three on the Billboard classical charts in July 2020, reaching the top just two weeks later.
Yiruma’s tracks have also garnered millions of views across YouTube, Spotify and other social media platforms. He has also collaborated with K-pop artists like 2AM, Ailee and Baek Ji Young.
General ticket prices range from $98 to $188, subject to booking a fee. VIP tickets will also be available at $298 each, which comes with a signed Yiruma The Best original score book.
There will be a one day pre-sale on Oct 7 from 10am to 11.59pm, which is only open to patrons who had previously purchased tickets to Yiruma’s cancelled show. General sales will begin on Oct 10 at 3pm.
Tickets can be purchased from SISTIC’s website, with each buyer limited to four tickets per transaction.
