Astronomy enthusiasts and those curious about what lies in Singapore’s night sky can now visit the Woodlands Galaxy CC observatory.

Located five minutes from Admiralty MRT, the observatory consists of a domed compound and open rooftop at Woodlands Galaxy CC, offering a 360-degree view of the night sky.

Closed since 2020 due to the pandemic, the observatory is open to the public again for sessions on Friday evenings, subject to weather conditions.

Visitors will have access to proper stargazing equipment like the sky90 takahashi to view astronomical phenomena that would otherwise be indiscernible to the naked eye.

Entry to the Woodlands Galaxy CC observatory costs $1 per pax. The observatory will publish a new QR code every Friday on its Facebook page for members of the public to buy the ticket.

Visitors may also purchase tickets from the Woodlands Galaxy CC counter, which closes at 6pm.

The observatory will post weather updates on its Facebook page every Friday at 5pm to confirm if that evening’s session will carry on.
