What’s on Netflix Singapore’s weekly top 10 list from May 2 to May 8
Biographical drama film 'The Founder' entered the list while K-Drama ‘Business Proposal’ retained a spot on the list for 10 weeks running.
Netflix Singapore’s top 10 list this past week (May 2 to May 8) saw biographical drama film The Founder enter the movies list and K-Drama Business Proposal retain a spot on the series list for 10 weeks running.
The Founder entered the list at fifth place. Starring Michael Keaton who portrays Ray Kroc, the movie chronicles how Ray turned the single-outlet burger joint McDonald’s in San Bernadino, California, into a global success story.
Other movies which earned a spot on the list for the first time this past week were survival horror film Escape Room: Tournament of Champions (first), fantasy film Seventh Son (fourth), science fiction film Pacific Rim (sixth), Chinese action comedy Kung Fu Yoga (eighth), crime film Marauders (ninth) and historical war film Midway (10th).
Hindi crime drama Gangubai Kathiawadi, Polish thriller 365 Days: This Day and action-comedy film R.I.P.D. retained spots on the list from previous weeks.
For TV shows, Chinese drama Who Rules The World: Season 1 took first place, knocking Korean horror series Happiness down to second place.
The only new entrant to the list was K-Drama Secret Royal Inspector and Joy, which entered at seventh place.

The show is set in the Joseon dynasty, where a young gourmet unintentionally becomes a royal inspector and teams up with a divorced woman to investigate and defeat corrupt politicians.
Reality series Selling Sunset: Season 5, crime drama Ozark: Season 4, Chinese Drama Falling Into Your Smile: Season 1, K-Dramas Tomorrow, Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce): Season 3, Our Blues: Season 1 and Business Proposal retained spots on the list, with Business Proposal having a spot for 10 consecutive weeks.
