Two films and three shows earned spots for the first time in Netflix Singapore’s top 10 list the past week (Mar 7 to 13).

Science fiction action film The Adam Project topped the list in the movies section. Adam Reed (Ryan Reynolds), a time-traveling pilot from 2050, teams up with his younger self from 2022 (Walker Scobell) to save the future.

The quirky chemistry between Reynolds and Scobell is a highlight with big Adam not wanting to be reminded about how he was asthmatic and a victim of bullying as a 12-year-old while his younger self is thrilled at the prospect of growing up to be anything but a weakling.

The other entrant to the films list is Hindi movie Badhaai Do. It is a romantic comedy about a couple entering into a marriage of convenience and discovering that relationships, both fake and real, are not easy.

South Korean period adventure film The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure, thriller movies The Weekend Away and Zodiac, science fiction films Divergent and Knowing, biographical legal drama Just Mercy, dystopian action film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and superhero movie Birds of Prey retained spots on the list from prior weeks.

For TV shows, South Korean legal drama Juvenile Justice remained at the top spot from the prior week while K-drama Business Proposal finished second, moving up from seventh place the previous week.

K-Dramas Forecasting Love and Weather, Twenty-Five Twenty-One and Thirty-Nine, dating reality show Love Island Australia, and Inventing Anna retained spots on the list.

Getting into the top 10 for the first time was season four of docuseries Formula 1: Drive to Survive which gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the drivers and races of the Formula One World Championship.
