What’s on Netflix Singapore’s weekly top 10 list from Mar 28 to Apr 3
Prison action thriller films 'Escape Plan' and 'Escape Plan 2: Hades' were some of the most watched content in the last week.
Six films and three shows earned spots for the first time in Netflix Singapore’s top 10 list the past week (Mar 28 to Apr 3).
Prison action thriller movie Escape Plan remains on the list for the second week running, moving up from seventh spot to the top. The prison-action thriller, starring Hollywood heavyweights Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenergger, tells the story of a prison security tester, Ray Breslin who is incarcerated in the world’s most secret and secure prison recruiting an inmate, Emil Rottmayer, to stage a breakout.
The sequel, Escape Plan 2: Hades, entered the list for the first time this week and sits at third spot.
Other titles which entered the list for the first time as well were documentary film Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King, Tamil romantic comedy Hey Sinamika, heist thriller Now You See Me, satirical comedy The Bubble and action-horror film Resident Evil: Retribution.
Science fiction action film The Adam Project, action-spy film Mission: Impossible – Fallout and Hindi sports drama ’83 continue to retain its spots on the list.
For TV shows, K-Drama Business Proposal retained its top spot for the third week running.
Romantic series Bridgerton: Season 2 remained at second place, while K-Dramas Forecasting Love and Weather, Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce): Season 3, Twenty Five Twenty One: Season 1, The Cursed and Thirty-Nine continue to retain spots on the list.
The first season of Bridgerton earned a spot on the list, perhaps as a result of Singaporeans rewatching it before catching the newly released second season.
Other shows that entered the top 10 list for the first time this past week were Chinese historical series The Long Ballad and K-Drama Bad And Crazy.
