What’s on Netflix Singapore’s weekly top 10 list from Apr 4 to 10
Superhero films 'Batman Begins’ and 'The Dark Knight Rises' were new entrants on the list.
Eight movies and three shows earned spots in Netflix Singapore’s top 10 list for the first time in the past week (Apr 4 to 10).
The films Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises, the first and third installments of The Dark Knight Trilogy, were new entrants on the list. Both movies were re-added into Netflix’s Singapore library in April.
The Dark Knight Rises, which featured Batman’s battle against the villain Bane, entered the list in second spot, while Batman Begins sits in fifth spot.
The other movie titles which appeared on the list for the first time were South Korean spy action film Yaksha: Ruthless Operations (first), spy thriller Body of Lies (third), Tamil action thriller Etharkkum Thunindhavan (fourth), Hindi social comedy Dasvi (sixth), road comedy Vacation (seventh) and science fiction drama Arrival (eighth).
Prison action thriller Escape Plan and satirical comedy The Bubble, which retained spots on the list from prior weeks, round off the top 10 in films.
For TV shows, K-Drama Business Proposal remained at the top spot for the fourth week running, while K-Drama Twenty Five Twenty One: Season 1 moved up one spot to second.
Business Proposal and Twenty Five Twenty One: Season 1 have been on the list for six and seven weeks respectively.
Chinese historical series The Long Ballad (third), K-Dramas Forecasting Love and Weather (fourth), Thirty-Nine (sixth), Bad And Crazy (seventh) and romantic series Bridgerton: Season 2 (fifth) continue to rank among the most watched TV shows among Singaporeans in the past week.
Chinese drama Reset, K-Drama Tomorrow and reality series The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On: Season 1, which entered the list for the first time in the past week, round off the top 10.
