What’s on Netflix Singapore’s weekly top 10 list from Apr 11 to 17

South Korean spy action film ‘Yaksha: Ruthless Operations' remained at the top spot while horror thriller film ‘Choose or Die' was a new entrant on the list.

Five movies and one series earned spots in Netflix Singapore’s top 10 list for the first time in the past week (Apr 11 to 17). 

Horror thriller film Choose or Die entered the list in fifth place, after being released on the streaming platform on Apr 15.

Starring Asa Butterfield, Iola Evans, Eddie Marsan and Robert Englund, the film follows a young coder who unleashes a hidden curse after firing up a 1980s survival horror game.

The other movie titles which appeared on the list for the first time were horror thriller Don’t Breathe 2 (second), science fiction romance The In Between (fourth), original documentary Return to Space (seventh) and Polish cop drama Furioza (nineth).

Superhero films Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises, South Korean spy action film Yaksha: Ruthless Operations, Tamil action thriller Etharkkum Thunindhavan and Hindi social comedy Dasvi retained spots on the list from prior weeks, rounding off the top 10 in films. 

For TV shows, Korean horror series Happiness took the top spot, knocking K-Drama Business Proposal down to second place.

Released on Apr 12, Happiness tells the story of residents of a high-rise building fighting for survival when a deadly disease breaks out and turns the infected into blood-lusting zombies.

Chinese historical series The Long Ballad (third), K-Drama Twenty Five Twenty One: Season 1 (fourth), reality series The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On: Season 1 (fifth), Chinese drama Reset (sixth), K-Drama Thirty-Nine (seventh), romantic series Bridgerton: Season 2 (eighth), K-Drama Tomorrow (nineth) and K-Drama Bad And Crazy (tenth) retained spots on the list.
