What’s on Netflix Singapore’s top 10 list from Dec 20-26
Plenty of new titles are making an appearance on the top 10 list in the past week.
Ten new titles broke into the top 10 Netflix Singapore lists in the past week, between Dec 20 and Dec 26.
Dark comedy film Don’t Look Up and season two of Emily In Paris, just released on Netflix this week, topped the weekly list for films and TV shows respectively.
Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, likely being revisited after the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home on Dec 15, followed close behind in the list of top 10 films.
The original Spider-Man also makes an appearance, coming in at number eight on the films list.
In light of the festive season, Last Christmas has spent two weeks high on the films list. The romantic comedy was released in 2019, but its writing and story have made it a must-watch in the sea of holiday movies released annually.
Season two of The Witcher dropped on Dec 17, and is still number two for TV shows in Singapore. The first season also makes an appearance lower on the list.
Six of the top 10 TV shows this week are Korean dramas. These are The Silent Sea, Single’s Inferno, The King’s Affection, Our Beloved Summer, Bulgasal: Immortal Souls and The Hungry and the Hairy.
Even though most of the films and shows on this list have been there for less than three weeks, two notable titles have held their spot for months. The King’s Affection has been in the top 10 for 11 weeks, and season five of Money Heist is on its eighth week on the list.
