What’s on Netflix Singapore this October

The Good Nurse, a thriller based on a real serial killer and Volume 3 of Unsolved Mysteries are part of the new releases from Netflix in October.

It’s the spooky season again for Netflix as they return this October with a new list of films that are not for the faint-hearted. 

From Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO) conspiracies to true-crime documentaries, here are five of Netflix’s upcoming suspenseful flicks that will keep horror fanatics at the edge of their seats!

1. The Good Nurse

An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but what about the nurses?

For Amy, it would be a series of mysterious patient deaths that point to her colleague Charlie as the main suspect. Forced to risk her life and the safety of her children, Amy sets off to uncover the truths behind the ghastly incidents.

Based on true events, the movie’s character Charlie is modeled after Charles Cullen, the most prolific serial killer recorded in history.

The Good Nurse will premiere on Oct 26.

2. Unsolved Mysteries: Volume 3

A much anticipated true-crime docuseries, Unsolved Mysteries is making a comeback this October with its third volume.

The series boasts a fresh collection of paranormal encounters, perplexing disappearances and shocking murders.

Episodes one to three will be available from Oct 18, while episodes four to six will be available from Oct 25.

3. Glitch

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Glitch explores the world of conspiracy theories and UFOs as it focuses on Hong Hi-Jyo, a woman whose life is thrown into disarray when her significant other goes missing.

Enlisting the help of a community of UFO watchers, she stumbles upon a wild conspiracy as she investigates the disappearance of her boyfriend.

The South Korean Netflix series will be available to watch on Oct 7.

4. 28 Days Haunted

Would you be able to last a month in haunted locations without losing your sanity?

If so, 28 Days Haunted may be the film series for you. 

Based on the theories of famous paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, the series depicts the adventures of three teams as they spend 28 days in some of America’s most haunted locations.

Follow the teams’ creepy adventures with the release of 28 Days Haunted on Oct 21.

5. The Midnight Club

The Midnight Club series takes the term “squad goals” to another level of creepiness.

A group of terminally ill teens staying in the Rotterdam Home hospice invoke the power of friendship by creating a sinister pact: The first to succumb to their disease must communicate with the others from beyond the grave.

However, bizarre occurrences soon start to occur in the hospice, which is also run by a mysterious doctor.
