Gear up for an array of thrilling adventures, captivating storylines and gripping suspense, as Netflix has it all in its lineup of new releases for next month.

Here are five shows to catch this October:

1. Strong Girl Nam-soon

Serving as a spin-off to the popular 2017 K-drama Strong Girl Bong-soon, Strong Girl Nam-soon follows a gifted young woman with superhuman strength who returns to Korea in search of her birth family – only to find herself entangled in a messy drug case.

Nam-soon, who first went missing when she was a kid in Mongolia, will join forces with her mother and grandmother – who also have superhuman strength – and put her skills and wits to the test in this crime-comedy series launching on Oct 7.

2. Big Mouth: Season 7

The raunchy, coming-of-age animated sitcom’s penultimate seventh season returns on Oct 20, and will follow the teenage students of Bridgeton Middle School as they progress up to high school.

3. Doona!

Lee Doo-na, a top K-pop idol, suddenly retires and moves to a share house near a university. There, she crosses paths with ordinary college student Lee Won-jun, and they become roommates.

Won-jun continues to navigate life and school while dealing with a unique predicament – he’s living with a beautiful former K-pop idol, and things are progressing fast.
