What’s on Netflix Singapore in May 2023

Here are five shows to look forward to on Netflix in the month of May:
1. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story
A prequel to the popular period drama, Bridgerton, the upcoming historical drama will focus on the backstory of Queen Charlotte, the enigmatic queen consort of King George III.

Set in the 18th century, the show takes viewers back to a young Charlotte who is struggling to find her place in the world as a woman of mixed race.
It then follows her journey as she rises to become the Queen of England and how she establishes herself as a powerful figure in a male-dominated society.
2. Selling Sunset: Season 6
The popular reality TV series will return for its sixth season on May 19, following a group of glamorous real estate agents in Los Angeles as they sell high-end properties to wealthy clients.
Season 6 of the show will also delve into the personal lives of the agents and how they navigate the changing real estate market.

The show’s regulars — Mary Fitzgerald, Healthier Rae El Moussa, Amanza Smith, Chrishell Stause and Brett and Jason Oppenheim will be back for Selling Sunset: Season 6.
They will also face new challenges and make difficult decisions about their careers and relationships.
3. Bleach: The New Captain Shusuke Amagai
Part of the ninth season of the Bleach anime series, Bleach: The New Captain Shusuke Amagai, is set to be released on May 1.
The arc delves into Shusuke Amagai’s past and his motivations, as well as the relationships between the various captains and other characters in the Bleach series.

As Amagai assumes his new role as the captain of the Third Division of the Soul Society, he must also navigate the politics and power struggles, while facing a dangerous new enemy who threatens the delicate balance of the realm.
4. Fubar
When a father and daughter learn that they have each secretly been working as CIA Operatives for years, they realise their entire relationship has been a lie and that they truly do not know one another.

With Arnold Schwarzegger and Monica Barbaro in the lead roles, Fubar will tackle universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, action and humour.
The series will be released on May 25.
5. Black Knight
In a post-apocalyptic world where the Korean peninsula has become a desolate wasteland and its population reduced to a mere 1 per cent, the survival of its remaining inhabitants heavily relies on delivery drivers.

In Black Knight, 5-8, a legendary delivery man known for his remarkable combat abilities, will encounter a refugee named Sa-wol, who will aspire to become a delivery driver and represent the only hope for her fellow refugees.
