What’s on Netflix Singapore in March 2022

Hit period drama ‘Bridgerton’ returns for a second season and Ryan Reynolds stars in new science-fiction movie 'The Adam Project'.

A new month, new crop of original movies and shows arriving on Netflix Singapore.

March will feature the return of one of the service’s most popular series, Bridgerton and the arrival of a time-traveling fighter pilot (Ryan Reynolds) in an upcoming adventure movie.

Here are five highlights of Netflix Singapore’s March lineup:

1. The Adam Project

The science-fiction adventure film follows Adam Reed (Ryan Reynolds), a time-traveling pilot who teams up with his younger self (Walker Scobell) to save the future.

The quirky chemistry between Reynolds and Scobell in the movie seems to be a highlight.

Coming off major hits like Red Notice last year, viewers will be in for yet another great time with Ryan Reynolds.

The science-fiction adventure lands on Netflix Mar 11.

2. Bridgerton season 2

After two years of waiting, the hit series Bridgerton will return for a second season on Mar 25. 

The romantic series will now focus on Daphne Bridgerton’s (Phoebe Dynevor) brother Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and his pursuit for love.

For those who have yet to watch the first season, Lady Whistledown (voiced by Julie Andrews) is the author of a scandalous paper which spills all the gossip about the wealthy.

The heated romance between Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma is set to be documented by the gossip chronicler, who has been “sharpening [her] knives” as she puts it in the season two trailer.

3. Windfall

Windfall follows a wealthy couple (Lily Collins and Jesse Plemons) who arrive at their vacation home only to find it is being robbed. The robber (Jason Segal) then decides to take the couple hostage and demand money for their release.

The crime thriller premieres on Netflix on Mar 18.

4. Mission: Impossible – Fallout

A mission gone wrong forces Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team to work with the CIA and familiar faces, as they race to save the world from nuclear devastation.

Receiving critical acclaim for its direction, cinematography, action sequences, musical score and acting, this installment is considered to be the best in the franchise by many critics.

The action begins Mar 20.

5. An Astrological Guide For Broken Hearts season 2

Netflix’s Italian romantic comedy series returns with a new season.

Alice Bassi (Claudia Gusmano), a production assistant in a small television network, continues to get help from her friend, Tio (Lorenzo Adorni) to get a date using Tio’s knowledge of astrology. In season one, they create a game show together to accomplish this task.

Season one was divided into six episodes, each named after a star sign starting with Aries and ending with Virgo. Each episode featured Tio facing the camera, as if he were in the game show, detailing the personality traits of each star sign.

Considering that there are 12 star signs in the horoscope, season two will likely finish the entire zodiac with the remaining six signs.
