What’s on Disney+ Singapore this December 2021
Some things to watch with friends and family this holiday season.
This holiday season, Disney+ will make you binge watch Hawkeye’s television series, bring you along on BLACKPINK’S adventures and make you tear up on some Korean dramas.
Here’s some highlights this December.
1. BLACKPINK: The Movie
BLACKPINK: The Movie was in cinemas in August this year and is now coming to the streaming platform. The South Korean documentary film will bring you on the journey of Korea’s hit girl group, BLACKPINK, ever since their debut in 2016.
Notable segments include “The Room of Memories” where they revisit memories of when they were first formed, and “Beauty”, that features shots and clips of each member.

Beyond interviews with the four members, parts of their live performances will also be shown.

2. Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye TV Series
Marvel’s Christmas-themed show will portray superhero Hawkeye’s battles when a Russian street gang, the Tracksuit Mafia, interrupts a charity auction gala.
Alongside Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton/Hawkeye) will be Hailee Stanfeld who is playing as Kate Bishop, a fan of Hawkeye and aspires to be a hero like him as he saved her during The Battle of New York in the first Avengers movie.

The first two episodes, ‘Never Meet Your Heroes’ and ‘Hide and Seek’, are already on Disney+. The finale will premiere on Dec 22.
3. The Light in Your Eyes
The Light in Your Eyes is a Korean drama starring Han Ji-min, Kim Hye-ja, Nam Joo-hyuk and Son Ho-Jun.
Having a rough relationship with his father, the main character finds it difficult to be emotionally attached to a place and a person, until he moves to Jeju Island and meets a girl, learning how precious time can be.

This drama will bring out all the emotions in you. From happiness to grief, The Light in Your Eyes will show the journey of two people accepting love again.
The series is already available now on Disney+.
4. Ron’s Gone Wrong
Ron’s Gone Wrong is an animated movie about a friendship between a boy, Barney Pudowski, and his robot named Ron.
Barney was the only kid in school who didn’t have a B-Bot (a futuristic robot buddy) until his family decides to give in. However, Ron was different from other B-Bots as he was defective and had to be returned for disposal.

Join Barney’s adventures with Ron on Dec 15 as they find the meaning of true friendship while being on the run.
5. Foodtastic Season 1
Hosted by Keke Palmer alongside Amirah Kassem and Chef Benny Rivera, Foodtastic will recreate your favourite scenes in Disney shows using food.

In Foodtastic, highly-skilled artists will compete against one another to create precise scenes with food sculptures that are way bigger than everyone in the room.
