Fans of the Minions from the Despicable Me franchise, you wouldn’t want to miss this.

The little yellow fellas are invading Universal Studios Singapore this festive season, as part of the theme park’s Christmas special.

Minions, such as Kevin, Dave, Bob, Stuart, Jerry and Tom will be available for a meet and greet, until Jan 3, 2021.

Other characters from the Despicable Me franchise, such as Gru, Lucy and the three girls will be around too.

If you aren’t that interested in the Minions (really?), there are other highlights to look out for.

From the Puss in Boots franchise, Puss in Boots and Kitty Softpaws with Humpty Dumpty will be waiting for you at the Milk Bar Stage.

Shrek and Princess Fiona, Poppy and Branch, Elmo, Cookie Monster, as well as Abby Cadabby and the characters from Madagascar round off the characters available for meet and greets.

You could also meet Santa and his frosty snowman, because what’s Christmas without Santa!

Interactive movie sets

There are interactive movie sets at Universal Studios Singapore this festive season too.

In ‘Lights, Camera, Christmas!’, step into interactive movie scenes to immerse yourself into the festive atmosphere as you explore this whimsical Christmas movie land. This is also where Shrek and Princess Fiona from Shrek and Poppy and Branch from Trolls can be found for their meet and greets.

‘Up! Up! And Away with Christmas’ allows you to go into a hot air balloon and meet Candy Air-Heart.

You can see Christmas decorations upside down after you are done with the hot air balloon as you pay Mr Tinsel Turvy’s upside down home a visit.

The theme park will hold its first-ever Christmas lucky draw, Santa’s Countdown Giveaway, too.
Prizes worth $60,000 are up for grabs. All you have to do is spend at least $38 at the park to qualify for the draw.

With special festive masks, food, a lucky draw and other activities, Universal Studios Singapore is set to leave you with a great experience to end 2020.
