What to watch on Disney+ Singapore in February
Time to cry watching Black Panther: Wakanda Forever again.
If you’re struggling to find anything to watch, Disney+ Singapore has a multitude of releases lined up for February 2023.
From new premieres to long-awaited finales, here’s a look at some of the highlights:
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
After the death of the original Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman, in August 2020, it was decided that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever would not recast the titular character of T’challa or use visual effects to imitate Chadwick Boseman in honour of his legacy.

Released in cinemas in November 2022, the movie instead follows the people of Wakanda, including T’challa’s sister Shuri (played by Letitia Wright), his mother Ramonda (played by Angela Bassett) and Nakia (played by Lupita Nyong’o).
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiered on Disney+ Singapore on Feb 1.
j-hope IN THE BOX
j-hope IN THE BOX is a documentary featuring exclusive interviews and a glimpse into pop star j-hope’s solo album preparation process, his 2022 Lollapalooza performance and the album’s listening party.

The pop star has previously released his mixtape Hope World in 2018, as well as a solo song, Chicken Noodle Soup, in collaboration with Becky G in 2019.
j-hope IN THE BOX premieres on Disney+ Singapore on Feb 17.
Gannibal
Gannibal is a Japanese horror, mystery and drama series. A police officer, Daigo Agawa is posted to a mountain village, where strange things start to happen.
Soon, he realises that the Gotos, a family living in the village, may have something to do with these happenings.

Viewer discretion is advised as gore and violence are depicted in the show. The season finale of Gannibal was aired on Feb 1.
The Simpsons
Those looking for classic shows such as The Simpsons can catch the latest episodes on Disney+ Singapore as well.
The Simpsons first debuted in 1989, and is still running today, with over 700 episodes in total.

The 13th episode of season 34 of The Simpsons will air on Feb 22.
Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown Arc
Anime fans can also look forward to new episodes of Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown Arc.
The second season of Tokyo Revengers continues with main protagonist Takemichi Hanagaki returning to the present and finding that he has failed to achieve his goal yet again. This means he will have to travel back to the past to try and change the outcome again.

The 5th episode of Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown Arc will be released on Feb 5.
Other shows launching on Disney+ in February include Call It Love and season two of Big Bet, while viewers can also catch new episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch and Family Guy.
