What to expect at ORTO’s new West Coast premises
Visitors can look forward to prawning, cozy gaming rooms and live music at F&B outlets.
ORTO leisure park in Yishun may be closing down in Jun 30, but some of the original tenants will continue operations at a new location in the West.
Located near Haw Par Villa, the new ORTO West Coast occupies the former Westway building and will also be home to new F&B and entertainment stores.
One of the original tenants moving over is Prawning at ORTO, which opened at the new premises on Apr 21. The ponds are open 24 hours a day and visitors can try their hand at freshwater prawning and bring home any big-head prawns and yabbies they catch.

Freshwater prawning prices are at $20 for one hour, $30 for two hours, $38 for three hours and $58 for five hours.
F&B outlets currently open at ORTO West Coast include zichar restaurant 88 SGMY Seafood, restaurant cum brewery RedDot BrewHouse, Thai restaurant Kinn Derm, Mo’s Grill and Bar, Volta Bistro, After Hours Gelato and grill house Coastal Acoustic.

Gaming and streaming enthusiasts can check out Ignite Spaces Singapore, which features several private rooms with board games, console games on the Nintendo Switch or PS5 and even Virtual Reality (VR) games.
Each room is also equipped with streaming accounts and ready-to-watch movies and TV shows, should guests prefer to sit back and watch something instead of gaming. Those interested in renting a room may do so at $12 per person for full-day access or upgrade to a gaming room priced between $20 and $30 per hour.

Several sections of ORTO West Coast were still under renovation as of Apr 26, including the part which housed West Coast Cue Sports, which retains its outlet from the former West Coast Recreation Centre and Westway building. Also under renovation are a fencing facility, dance studio and mermaid-themed cafe.
ORTO West Coast is located at 27 West Coast Highway, directly opposite Haw Par Villa MRT Station.
