Westlife to perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Feb 16, 2023
Ticket prices range from $128 to $258.
After drawing a massive crowd of 60,000 during the recently concluded Singapore Grand Prix, Irish pop quartet Westlife will return to Singapore in February next year, announced by the band through their social media channels on Oct 4.
As part of the second Asia leg of their The Wild Dreams tour, the band will perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Feb 16. This gig is sandwiched between a concert in Indonesia on Feb 11 and two in the Philippines on Feb 20 and 21.
The band last performed at Singapore’s National Stadium in 2019 for their reunion tour – The Twenty Tour.
Formed in 1998, Westlife currently consists of four members – Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne. They rose to prominence with their debut international self-titled studio album Westlife in 1999, before going on to release 20 other albums such as Coast to Coast and Where We Are.
The band also recorded 14 number one singles on the British charts – a record only topped by The Beatles and Elvis Presley. Although Westlife was disbanded in 2012, they reunited in 2018 and held their reunion tour The Twenty Tour in 2019.
Ticket prices range from $128 to $258, subject to a $4 booking fee. Buyers are only limited to six tickets per transaction.
The tickets can be purchased from Ticketmaster’s website or at all SingPost outlets.
