Wellness Festival Singapore 2023 to be held Jun 17-Jul 9; over 180 activities available
The 3-week lineup features islandwide events and installations to promote physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
A series of health and wellness activities will be hosted by the Wellness Festival Singapore (WFS) this year, spanning three weeks from Jun 17 to Jul 9.
The festival is organised by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) in collaboration with Enterprise Singapore, Health Promotion Board, National Arts Council, Sentosa Development Corporation and Sport Singapore.
Last year’s festival featured main highlights like the Wellness Sensorium and Zentosa Fest. Here are some activities you can expect from this year’s run:
Wellness Experience Space (Jun 17 to Jul 9)
Organised by STB, this is a multi-sensory pop-up offering a variety of innovative installations.
The installations include Active Arena, AMSR Wonderland, Mirror Scent Trail, Sound Bath Jamming, Masterclass Greenhouse and a Wellness F&B Zone.
The Active Arena features an obstacle course that requires participants to balance on a slackline and swing across the course. Punching bags are also available to let loose.
Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) noises can be created through playing with the textured cubes at the ASMR Wonderland.
Festival goers can also experience an “urban jungle” at The Mirror Scent Trail, where the area is infused with three unique scents “representing the ebb and flow of daily life”.
At the Sound Bath Jamming activity, visitors can expect to practise a mix of sound bathing and music jamming.
Besides attending multiple programmes that delve into holistic wellness, Masterclass Greenhouse will also offer free mindful colouring activities over views of Marina Bay.
Visitors can also purchase food and drink at the Wellness F&B Zone.
All programmes under the Wellness Experience Space are free of charge and open every day of the event.

Craft Fragrance Experience (Jun 17 to Jul 9)
Fragrance lovers can create their own personalised 50ml Eau De Parfum scent with Oo La Lab. Participants may choose from 27 iconic fragrance notes and seven new limited edition notes at the workshop.
There will be mixologists throughout the 90-minute immersive workshop. It is suitable for those who are interested in channelling personal wellness and empowerment through smell.
This experience is located at Delta House at Alexandra Road. Other sensorial installations are on display at their ‘Open Lab’ experience.
Tickets are priced at $98, with a 10 per cent discount when you sign up for Oo La Lab’s newsletters.

Beats Therapy Performance (Jun 19)
Located at the Event Plaza at Marina Bay Sands, this intense Metcon and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout is organised by Sphere and Therapy Room.
With a live DJ set, music with different beats-per-minute will be incorporated into the workout. According to WFS, music is a form of health therapy that results in increasing dopamine, adrenaline and mental awareness.
This one-hour session is only available for one day of the event and is priced at $25 per person.

The Tea Story Wellness Tea Bar (Jul 2 and 9)
At this workshop, The Tea Story combines the art of tea-making with science wellness.
Participants may indulge in the different aromas of tea blends offered, kick-starting their journey of self-care. Tea sommeliers will be there to assist throughout the workshop.
Each tea blend is carefully crafted to enhance sleep, digestion, relaxation, immunity and more.
The Jul 2 session runs from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, while the one on Jul 9 runs from 5pm to 6pm. Tickets are priced at $30 each.

More information about the full list of activities offered at the festival can be found on the WFS website.
