Stage 2 of the Thomson-East Coast Line is finally opening, seven years after it was first announced.

To celebrate the opening of the six new stations along the Thomson-East Coast Line 2, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be having a virtual open house from Aug 23 to Aug 27.

The stations that will begin operations on Aug 28 include: Springleaf, Lentor, Mayflower, Bright Hill, Upper Thomson and Caldecott.

The open house will include livestream sessions with local media company, SGAG, station tours with the talents of King Kong Media, interviews with the engineers and architects behind the new stations, DIY upcycling workshops utilising recycled materials and daily contests with prizes to be won.

LTA will also be having a sneak peek of the new stations through a photography challenge between local twin photographers Yais and Yafiq Yusman on their Instagram page, both known for their mesmerizingly slick pictures of Singapore. The sneak peeks commence on Aug 17.
