Video challenge on how Singaporeans envision the nation’s future open for submissions till Sep 13; cash prizes of up to $2,000 to be won
Those interested should be at least 16 years old to enter the contest.
Singaporeans can stand to win up to $2,000 in cash when they participate in the Sensational Unique Singaporean Ads Video Challenge (SUS Ads).
Organised by the Government’s feedback unit REACH, mm2 Entertainment and AsiaOne, SUS Ads 2023 is in support of the Forward Singapore exercise. The challenge aims to get Singaporeans to showcase how they would like to shape Singapore’s future for the better on video.
SUS Ads 2023’s theme is A Letter to my Future Self: Dear Tomorrow…, which encourages Singaporeans to envision the nation’s future, its future challenges and how they would overcome it to continue living in a strong and resilient society.
The challenge has two categories – open and student. The former is for all Singaporean citizens and permanent residents ages 16 and above to join, while the latter is reserved for youths currently enrolled full-time in a local education institution.
Contestants can enter the challenge as an individual or as a group. Each video entry should not be more than 60 seconds long, and must take inspiration from at least one of Forward Singapore’s six pillars: Empower, Equip, Care, Build, Steward and Unite.
There are four cash prizes that can be won. The top three entries stand to win up to $2,000 in cash, while the audience may choose one other entry to win the Audience Choice Award and $1,000 in cash.
In order to be eligible for SUS Ads 2023, video entries should fulfill a list of criteria, such as being PG-13 and not containing any obscene material or references.
All submissions will be judged based on its relevance to the challenge’s theme, originality, creativity and technical execution.
