The new collection is available for purchase online and in stores.
In celebration of Sailor Moon’s 30th anniversary since it was first aired on TV in 1992, Vans launched its Vans X Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon collection featuring a range of shoes, apparels and bags on Jun 1.
One of the notable items in the collection is the Sk8-Hi Stacked shoes.
Priced at $195, the high-cut shoes are designed with elements from Sailor Moon’s costume, such as her blue and white striped collar and big red bow.
Another item on the collection is The Lizzie skate shoes that cost $139.
Designed by Lizzie Armanto, the first female skateboarder who competed in the Tony Hawk’s 360 Loop skateboarding competition, the shoes are adorned with black and white graphic art designs of the different characters.
The collection also features two different bags with Sailor Moon-inspired designs. The first is a regular backpack with a collage of the Sailor Moon characters. The second design is a mini purple backpack with the character Luna printed on the front.
The collection is available for purchase on Vans’ official website and in stores.
