UNIQLO will hold its UT Fan Festival 2022 at its Orchard Central global flagship store from Jul 29 to Aug 7, announced the global apparel retailer on Friday (8 Jul).

This will be in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the UT brand of UNIQLO graphic T-shirts launched in 2003.

Shoppers can look forward to a celebration of all things UT through creative activities by local collaborators, and a lineup of new UT collections and iconic favourites for old and new fans alike.

The event features three different themes — Create Your World, Explore Your World and Customise Your World.

Under the Create Your World theme, shoppers can express their creativity with in-store activities and novelties with UNIQLO’s collaborators.

This theme features Portrait Doodles, where customers can enjoy getting a caricature portrait doodled by the designers at Cruddy. This is open to walk-in UNIQLO shoppers with any same-day purchase on Jul 30 to 31 and Aug 6 to 7, from 1 to 8pm.

Create Your World also includes the Stencil Party, an activity where customers can get their favourite UNIQLO T-shirt or eco tote-bag stencilled with UT-exclusive designs by artist Tobyato. The activity is open to walk-in UNIQLO shoppers, with any same-day purchase of a UNIQLO T-shirt or eco tote-bag to be stencilled on Jul 30 and 31, from 1pm to 8pm.

Under the theme Explore Your World, customers can discover the launch of new UT collections and revisit iconic favourites.

This theme will feature the relaunch of well-loved UT designs, set to make its comeback from August to September. The collections and designs from the UT archives give loyal fans a second chance to snag these popular crowd favourites.

UNIQLO also will debut new UT collections, such as the Mickey and Friends Art collection by Steven Harrington, which is now available. They will also launch collections like Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary, Peanuts x Reyn Spooner and Minecraft.

Under the Customise Your World theme, shoppers can print one-of-a-kind designs on UNIQLO’s T-shirts using the widely popular UTme! T-shirt customisation service exclusively at the Orchard Central global flagship store.

They can also check out local collections with collaborators including wheniwasfour, woodandlead, lovage and more, along with an upcoming partnership with SGAG to celebrate National Day. Customers can bring home a customised T-shirt with these designs at the UTme! station.
