The competition, which will be held at Pasir Panjang Power Station, will feature up to 300 male and female competitors.
Under Armour’s inaugural UA Combine competition will kick off in Singapore on Aug 20 at Pasir Panjang Power Station, the sports brand announced in a press release on Thursday (Jul 7).
The event, which seeks to “establish the ultimate benchmark in athlete performance”, will feature up to 300 male and female competitors.
It will feature a total of eight tests – agility, stamina, vertical, power, endurance, strength, speed and cognition – that will allow athletes from any sports or training discipline to compete against others in both physical and mental aspects.
Examples of the tests include a reaction inhibition test for cognition, a 40 yard dash for speed, and a 20m multistage fitness test for endurance.
More information, including demonstration videos of the specific tests, can be found on Under Armour’s website.
All athletes taking part in UA Combine will also receive a full Under Armour competitor kit.
Points will be earned for each completed test, which count toward each participant’s final ranking.
The first, second and third placed athletes from both the men’s and women’s division will be awarded with medals and cash prizes of $5,000, $2,500 and $1,000 respectively.

Individuals who wish to participate in UA Combine 2022 must be aged 18 and above, and can register here.
Each entry will cost $100.
