An Ultraman pop-up experience is running at the Night Safari from Aug 5 till Oct 31.

The pop-up is a part of the SingapoReimagine – Ultraman campaign, a collaboration between Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Tsuburaya Productions, to celebrate 55 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan.

Through the line-up of activities, the pop-up aims to spread the message of wildlife conservation through the popular characters.

Activities at the pop-up include an Ultraman Digital Trail, which lets participants aid Ultraman and Merliger, an incarnation of the Merlion, to battle monsters from the Ultraman universe, such as Eleking III and Zumbolar. The monsters represent threats to wildlife such as pollution and habitat loss.

Along the trail, participants can also learn tips on how they can play a part in saving wildlife and Ultraman fun facts by scanning the QR codes displayed around the Naracoorte Cave. The trail will take place from 7.15pm to 12am daily.

Another activity for visitors is the themed dining at the Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant. Meals served at the restaurant will be Ultraman themed, with menu items like Ultraman Chicken Karaage Curry Rice, “Hanzagiran” Fried Fish & Salted Egg Carbonara and for kids, the Ultraman Mini Impossible Burger.

The themed dining experience will be available from 6.30pm to 11.30pm daily.

Visitors can also look forward to snapping pictures with Ultraman and Merliger at various photo points located at Naracoorte Cave and at the Ultraman Mural, painted by local artist DPLMT that depicts Ultraman and Merliger’s battle against Kaiju, which represent wildlife threats. The mural will be open to visitors from 7.15pm to 12am.

The Ultraman pop-up experience will run till Oct 3 at the Night Safari, from 6.30pm to 12am. Admission will cost $49.50 for adults and $34.20 for children aged 3 to 12 years old.

For those who would like to explore the Night Safari grounds more, the Ultraman-themed Safari Adventure Tour provides you with an opportunity to do so. The tour will start off with a mocktail being served at Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant, before embarking on a private buggy tour and animal feeding sessions.

Participants will get to travel through the Leopard Trail and be entitled to reserved seating at the Creatures of the Night animal presentation.

As part of the adventure tour package, participants will receive exclusive Ultraman-themed premiums.

The Ultraman-themed Safari Adventure Tour retails at $560, and will take place from 6.45pm to 9.00pm daily. The package will host seven pax per booking.
