In light of the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, the Ukrainian Embassy in Singapore has opened up donations via the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) from now until May 31.

SRC pledged to contribute at least $100,000 towards the humanitarian crisis, and the money will go to the provision of relief supplies such as hygiene and household kits for those who have been displaced by the conflict.

Mr Benjamin William, Secretary General and CEO of Singapore Red Cross, said: “The humanitarian needs on the ground will continue to rise as the conflict intensifies. Working with our Red Cross Movement partners, we will continue to assist the affected communities, many of whom could potentially lose their homes and all their belongings.”

Dear Friends in Singapore, if you would like to support Ukraine, please use one of the options suggested by the Singapore Red Cross. Even a small donation is highly appreciated. Thank you for your support!

Online donations can be made via SRC’s donation channels, such as Giving.sg, DonorBox, Donation Portal, iRaiser, and Benevity.

Mobile payment methods such as Paylah! and PayNow are supported as well.

Alternatively, you can also make an online funds transfer through your bank account, as well as a cheque transfer to SRC.

SRC has also activated its Restoring Family Links (RFL) service to assist Singapore residents who have had family members affected by the conflict and that they have difficulty in contacting.

More information about the services can be found on Singapore Red Cross’ website.
