Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts to hold world premiere in Singapore with cast
Actors Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback will be among those walking the red carpet on May 27 at the Marina Bay Sands.
The production crew and cast members of the upcoming Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts movie are coming to Singapore for its world premiere on May 27.
Fans of the Transformers franchise can catch the likes of director Steven Caple Jr as well as actors Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback walking down the red carpet at Marina Bay Sands.
Hailed as “a public fan event under the stars”, the world premiere in Singapore is the first of the Transformers film’s worldwide tour, and will be held before its theatrical release on Jun 8.
Five pairs of special access tickets are up for grabs for Transformer fans to attend the red carpet and premiere event. The fan art contest, themed “Autobots, Maximals, Roll Out”, runs till May 21.
The winning entries will be exhibited at the Marina Bay Sands, while the creators will also get a photo opportunity with the filmmakers and cast.
Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts is the seventh instalment of the Transformers film franchise. It is a standalone sequel to Bumblebee (2018) and a prequel to Transformers (2007).
The newest instalment sees the story being set in the 1990’s, where a pair of archeologists are caught in the middle of “an existing battle on Earth between Autobots and Deceptions”. They, as well as the audience, are then introduced to the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons.
In March, two life-sized statues of Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal were displayed at the Gardens by the Bay as part of the Transformers: Rise Of The Beast Statues World Tour to build hype around the movie.
More details about the world premiere will be released in the coming weeks, said United International Pictures.
