Tinder Singapore launches new music mode feature in Explore
The new audio feature with Spotify will help you feel more connected to your swipes.
Sick of talking to Tinder users who fail your vibe check? Here’s a faster way you can sift for better matches.
The popular dating platform has just launched a new feature called Music Mode on Explore. Through an integration with Spotify, the immersive experience allows users to choose an Anthem aka a song that they resonate with by linking their Spotify accounts to their Tinder profiles. The song will then automatically play from their profiles.

With Music Mode, it’ll also be much easier to initiate conversations as users can bond over their shared love for the linked song or artist.
In Singapore, music has proven to be the number one passion for Tinder members. The top five songs chosen as Anthems this year were STAY by The Kid LAROI, Justin Bieber, good 4 u by Olivia Rodrigo, Heat Waves by Glass Animals, Kiss Me More (feat. SZA) by Doja Cat, SZA and INDUSTRY BABY (feat. Jack Harlow) by Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow.
As for the top five Spotify artists, topping the list was Olivia Rodrigo followed by The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift and keshi.
Kyle Miller, VP of Product Innovation at Tinder, said: “Now with Music Mode, our members can experience that feeling when you’re at a party and you find out someone else loves the same songs you do.”
