Ticket sales announced for AFF Suzuki Cup
Singapore kick off their campaign this Sunday against Myanmar.
The long-awaited AFF Suzuki Cup 2020 will kick off on Dec 5, with hosts Singapore taking on Myanmar and tickets have gone on sale for the football tournament.
Tickets for each match day will be priced at $25 for adults and $15 for children below the age of 12.
The National Stadium will host all but one game from Group A – which four-time champions Singapore are in, alongside Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar, and Timor Leste. Group B matches will be played mainly at Bishan Stadium, which will feature the likes of reigning champions Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Laos.
Up to 10,000 spectators will be allowed to attend matches at the National Stadium, while 1,000 fans will be allowed at the Bishan Stadium.
The FAS have also stated that only those that are fully vaccinated will be allowed to attend the matches.
For fans unable to attend the matches, Mediacorp will broadcast all Singapore games live.
The top two teams from each group will advance for the two-legged semi finals before a two-legged final will decide the champions of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Twelve players from reigning Singapore Premier League champions, the Lion City Sailors, will represent Singapore at the tournament.
