Bags measuring 12.5 by 18 inches will be provided by the shop.
Cherry Thrift Shop at Peninsula Plaza is back with its Fill A Bag event from May 26 to 28, where customers can walk home with a bag full of clothes for just $15.
The first Fill A Bag event was held in April 2022, where a $20 fee was charged upon entry.
Much like the previous run of the event, bags will be provided by the store. The bags measure 12.5 by 18 inches, and can fit up to 10 pieces of clothing based on Cherry Thrift Shop’s estimation.
Customers are allowed to pick as many items as they wish so long as they fit the bag. The racks will be replenished with more preloved clothes throughout the day.
Interested shoppers can book a time slot through the link on Cherry Thrift Shop’s Instagram biography. Each time slot can accommodate up to seven people.
Shoppers must indicate their Instagram usernames on the booking sheet as invoices will be sent via Instagram Direct Messages.
After receiving the invoice, a non-refundable $15 deposit must be made within an hour to confirm their attendance.
Shoppers are not allowed to share bags as each person is entitled to one bag.
Cherry Thrift Shop is located on the fifth floor of Peninsula Plaza and is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm to 8pm.
