The Original Vadai to open new outlet in Woodlands on May 27
The store opens on Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 8pm.
The Original Vadai will open a new outlet in Woodlands on May 27, securing its place in the North side of Singapore.
Known for its crispy deep-fried fritters topped with prawns, the Original Vadai has captured the hearts and stomachs of many Singaporeans since they first began operating as night market pop-ups around the island.
The Original Vadai then opened physical outlets at Beach Road, Joo Chiat, Aljunied, Tampines, and Amoy Food Court.
The store had also made an appearance at the Geylang Serai Ramadan bazaar in April this year.
Its prawn and ikan bilis vadai sell at $1.20 each. The outlet also sells other deep-fried foods such as chicken liver and gizzards for $4.50 each.
In March, The Original Vadai registered all its outlets to be Halal-certified.
The new outlet is at Kampung Admiralty, located at 676 Woodlands Drive 71, #02-29, S730676. The store is open on Tuesdays to Sundays from 11am to 8pm. Customers can also choose to order and get their vadais delivered here.
