The 19th Asian Games will see 431 Team Singapore athletes competing across 32 sports in Hangzhou, China, which represents the country’s largest contingent ever.
The Games take place from Sep 23 till Oct 8, although some events began ahead of the opening ceremony. Originally scheduled to take place last year, it was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of Sep 27, Singapore has won two silver and three bronze medals.
Here are the results and schedule for Team Singapore:
Sep 27
Wushu
Men’s Daoshu & Gunshu – Jowen Lim won a silver medal after finishing with a combined score of 19.476. He scored 9.743 in Gunshu and 9.733 in Daoshu.

Fencing
Men’s Team Foil – Singapore, comprising Jonathan Au Eong, Kieren Lock, Raphael Tan and Samuel Elijah Robson, were knocked out in the quarter-finals after losing to Hong Kong 45-34. The team had earlier beaten India 45-30 in the Table of 16.
Women’s Team Epee – Singapore, comprising Elle Koh, Filzah Hidayah, Kiria Tikanah, and Cheryl Lim, beat Thailand 45-32 to qualify for the quarter-finals, where they lost 45-25 to Hong Kong.
Swimming
Men’s 100m Butterfly – Quah Zheng Wen finished sixth in the final after clocking 52.26. He had clocked 52.31 in the heats. Jerald Lium clocked 56.60 in the heats and did not qualify for the final.
Women’s 100m Butterfly – Quah Jing Wen finished seventh after clocking 59.60 in the final. She had clocked 59.75 in the heats. Quah Ting Wen, who clocked 1:00.00 in the heats, withdrew from the final.
Women’s 100m Backstroke – Levenia Sim finished seventh in the final after clocking 1:01.89. She had clocked 1:01.84 in the heats. Faith Elizabeth Khoo clocked 1:03.21 and set a new personal best, even though she did not qualify for the final.
Men’s 200m Freestyle – Glenn Lim finished seventh in the final after clocking 1:49.00. He had clocked 1:48.76 in the heats. Ardi Zulhilmi finished ninth after clocking 1:49.22. He had set a new personal best in the heat, with a 1:48.86 timing.
Women’s 100m Breaststroke – Letitia Sim set a new national record and personal best after clocking 1:07.13 in the final, in which she finished fourth. She had clocked 1:07.27 in the heats. Christie May clocked 1:12.29 in the heats and failed to qualify for the finals.
Mixed 4x100m Medley Relay – Zachary Tan, Maximilian Ang, Nur Marina Chan Alif Abdullah and Amanda Lim clocked 3:57.01 in the heat. In the finals, Quah Zheng Wen, Letitia Sim, Quah Jing Wen and Jonathan Tan finished fourth with a 3:49.73 timing, which was a new national record.
Shooting
Women 50m Rifle 3 positions Individual – Martina Veloso scored 582-24x, Jasmine Ser scored 579-26x and Adele Tan scored 577-18x. The trio did not advance into the final.
Women 25m Pistol Individual – Teo Shun Xie finished seventh in the final. She had scored 583-22x in the qualifier.
Teh Xiu Hong scored 581-14x while Teh Xiu Yi scored 572-13x. Both did not advance into the final.
Women 25m Pistol Team (Rapid Fire) – Teh Xiu Hong, Teh Xiu Yi and Teo Shun Xsie scored 1736 in the combined final. Singapore finished fifth.
Men Skeet Individual – Low Jiang Hao finished qualification with a score of 109, which placed him 32nd out of 39. He did not advance into the final.
Softball
Women’s Team – Singapore beat Hong Kong 9-4. The team has one win and one loss after two games, and will take on Japan next on Sep 28.
Bridge
Mixed Team – Singapore beat Hong Kong (15.66-4.34 Victory Points), Philippines (17.91 – 2.09 Victory Points), and Indonesia (17.49 – 2.51 Victory Points).
Men’s Team – Singapore lost to China (17.63 – 2.37 Victory Points), Thailand (15.06-4.94 Victory Points) and beat Hong Kong (13.23 – 6.77 Victory Points).
Women’s Team – Singapore lost to Indonesia (15.06 – 4.94 Victory Points) and beat South Korea (18.65 – 1.35 Victory Points) and beat Thailand (10.33-9.67 Victory Points).
Water Polo
Women’s Team – Singapore beat South Korea 24-1 for its first victory in three matches.
Chess
Women Standard Individual – Gong Qianyun lost to Indonesia’s Irene Kharisma Sukandar 1-0 and drew against Thailand’s Chuemsakul Sarocha ½ – ½. She finished 17th out of 30 overall.
Gymnastic
Women (Artistic) Individual All-Around – Kaitlyn Lim scored 45.466 in the final and finished 12th out of 17 overall. Shandy Poh scored 42.098 and finished 16th.
Equestrian
Dressage Individual – Alyssa Tan scored 58.441%, while Tara Yen Wee scored 52.824%. Both did not qualify for the final.
Football
Women’s Team – Singapore lost to North Korea 10-0 in the second match between both sides and were eliminated from the competition.
Table Tennis
Mixed Doubles – Clarence Chew and Zeng Jian defeated Mongolia’s Ankbayar Bilguun and Bat-Erdene Egshiglen 3-0.
Koen Pang and Wong Xin Ru defeated Pakistan’s Zahoor Faizan and Fawad Hoor 3-0.
Squash
Men’s Team – Singapore lost to Pakistan 3-0 and beat Nepal 3-0.
Baseball
Men Team – Singapore lost to Laos 8-7.
Sailing
Men Kiteboarding (IKA Formula Kite) – Maximilian Maeder was declared the winner after the final was cancelled due to poor weather conditions. He was ranked first in the open series. This is Singapore’s first gold medal of the Asian Games.
Men Single Handed Dinghy (ILCA 7) – Ryan Lo was declared the gold medallist after the medal race was cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Ryan had ranked first in the open series.
Women Single Handed Dinghy (ILCA 6) – Victoria Chan won the bronze medal after the medal race was cancelled due to poor weather conditions. She had ranked third in the open series.
Men Windfoiling (IQFOIL) – Elkan Reshawn Oh finished sixth, based on his position from the open series, after the medal race was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
Women Windfoiling (IQFOIL) – Marsha Shahrin finished fourth, based on her position from the open series, after the medal race was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.

Field Hockey
Women’s Team – India beat Singapore 13-0.
Boxing
Women 50kg – Danisha Mathialagan lost to Uzbekistan’s Sabina Bobokulova 5-0.

Shooting
Mixed 10m Air Rifle Team – Fernel Tan and Tang Hong An scored 626.9 in the qualification, which placed them in seventh. It was not enough for them to advance into the medal matches.
Women 25m Pistol Individual (Precision Stage) – Teo Shun Xie scored 289-8x and is currently ranked 15th of 44. Teh Xiu Hong scored 287-6x and is ranked 18th, while Teh Xiu Yi scored 284-8x and is ranked 27th. The trio will next compete in the Rapid Fire qualification event on Sep 27.
Women 25m Pistol Team Combined – Teo Shun Xie, Teh Xiu Hong and Teh Xiu Yi scored 860 and is currently ranked 5th out of 12.
Men 10m Running Target Mixed Individual – Li Jie scored 374-8x and finished 5th out of 18.
Men Skeet Individual – Low Jiang Hao scored 66 in the qualification stage 1 round and is currently ranked 32nd out of 39. Stage 2 is on Sep 27.
Taekwondo
Women’s Kyorugi (Under 53kg) – Nichelle Tan lost to China’s Zuo Ju 2-0 in the round of 16. She had defeated Timor Leste’s Semoi Do Rego Cruz Lein Teresa 2-0 earlier in the day in the previous round.
Fencing
Women Individual Sabre – Juliet Heng was eliminated in the quarter-finals after losing to Korea’s Yoon Jisu 15-6. She had earlier eliminated compatriot Jessica Ong in the Table of 16 round, after winning 15-5.
Earlier in the day, Jesscia won four bouts of five in the Pool stage, while Juliet won two bouts of five.
Swimming
Women’s 100m Freestyle – Quah Ting Wen clocked 55.38 and finished seventh in the final. She had earlier 55.92 in the heats. Amanda Lim clocked 56.35, which is a new personal best, but failed to make the cut for the final.
Men’s 400m Individual Medley – Zackery Tay clocked 4:37.43 in the heats and did not qualify for the final.
Women’s 200m Backstroke – Faith Elizabeth Khoo clocked a new personal best in the heats with a 2:18.57 timing, but it was not enough for her to advance into the final.
Women’s 400m Freestyle – Gan Ching Hwee finished sixth after clocking 4:15.30 in the final. She had clocked 4:17.50 in the heats earlier.
Men’s 4x100m Medley Relay – Zachary Tan, Maximilian Ang, Ardi Zulhilmi and Mikkel Lee finished last in the final after clocking 3:46.07. They had clocked 3:43.21 in the heats.
Rugby Sevens
Men’s Team – Singapore lost to Malaysia 33-7 in the 5th to 8th placing playoffs. In the 7th/8th placing match, Singapore beat Chinese Taipei 19-12 to secure seventh spot.
Women’s Team – Singapore lost to Kazakhstan 50-0 in the 5th and 6th placing match, and finished 6th out of 7 teams.
Esports
Mixed Street Fighter V (PC) Individual – Brandon Chia defeated Palestine’s Adham Ketaneh 2-0 and advanced to the Winners’ Bracket Round, where he lost 2-1 to Korea’s Kim Gwanwoo.
In the Losers’ Bracket Round 2, he defeated Kazakhstan’s Bauyrzhan Sagimbekov 2-0 and in the Losers’ Bracket Round 3, he defeated Malaysia’s Jerry Cheong 2-0. However, he lost to Japan’s Masaki Kawano in the Losers’ Bracket Round 4 and was knocked out of the competition.
Field Hockey
Singapore lost to India 16-1 in their second pool stage match. The team has two defeats in two matches, and will face Bangladesh next on Sep 28.
Squash
Men’s Team – Aaron-Jon Widjaja Liang, Jerome Clement Aw, Marcus Phua and Samuel Kang lost to India 3-0 in their first pool stage match. The team will take on Kuwait next.
Sailing
Single Handed Girls (ILCA 4) – Keira Marie Carlyle has 28 net points after 11 races, and finishes third. She won a bronze medal, Singapore’s second of the Asian Games.
Single Handed Boys (ILCA 4) – Isaac Goh secures Singapore’s first silver medal of the Asian Games after finishing second, with 21 net points after 11 races.
Mixed Multihull (NACRA 17) – Denise Lim and Justin Liu won Singapore’s second silver medal of the Asian Games, after finishing second in their event. They have 28 net points after 14 races.
Women Skiff (49ERFX) – Kimberly Lim and Cecilia Low won the bronze medal after coming in third out of six. They finished with 34 net points.
Men Skiff (49ER) – Koh Yi Nian and Tan Jen-E finished sixth, with 68 net points after 14 races.
Men Single Handed Dinghy (ILCA 7) – Ryan Lo finished first after 11 races, with 26 net points. He advanced into the medal race, which will be held on Sep 27.
Women Single Handed Dinghy (ILCA 6) – Victoria Chan finished third after 11 races, with 38 net points. She advanced into the medal race.
Women Windfoiling (IQFOIL) – Marsha Shahrin finished fourth after 18 races, with 54 net points. She will race in the semi-finals on Sep 27.
Men Windfoiling (IQFOIL) – Elkan Reshawn Oh finished sixth after 18 races, with 90 net points. He advanced into the quarter-finals.

Softball
Women’s Team – Singapore lost to Chinese Taipei 12-0 after the mercy rule was applied in the 4th inning. Singapore will take on Hong Kong in the next group match on Sep 27.
Weiqi
Men’s individual – Kang Zhanbin defeated Macau’s Lou Wan Kao 2-0 in the final group match. He finished sixth in his grouping, and did not qualify for the quarter finals. Kwan Jie Hui ended seventh in his group, and also did not advance to the quarter finals.
Chess
Women’s Standard Individual – Gong Qianyun drew ½ – ½ against Vietnam’s Vo Thi Kim Phung and beat Philippines’ San Diego Marie Antoinette 1-0.
Equestrian
Dressage Individual – Alyssa Tan scored 60.176% and finished 28th out of 34. Tara Yen scored 56.676% and finished 32nd.
Water Polo
Women’s Team – Singapore lost to China 26-2, the team’s second straight defeat in the round robin. They will take on South Korea next on Sep 27.
Squash
Men’s Team – Singapore lost to Kuwait 2-1. The team will face Pakistan next on Sep 27.
Sep 25
Wushu
Women Changquan – Kimberly Ong scored 9.756 in the final and secured a bronze medal, Singapore’s first at the Games.
Zoe Tan scored 9.753 and finished fourth.

Men’s Tajiquan & Tajijian all-round combined finals – Tay Yu Xuan scored 9.736 in Tajiquan and 9.616 in Tajijian to finish 10th overall with a combined score of 19.346.
Chan Jun Kai scored 9.730 in Tajiquan and 9.250 in Tajijian to finish 15th overall with a combined score of 18.986.
Swimming
Men’s 50m Backstroke – Quah Zheng Wen finished last among eight swimmers in the final, after clocking 25.69. He had clocked 25.71s in the heat earlier in the day. Zachary Ian Tan did not qualify for the final after clocking 26.68 in the heats.
Women’s 50m Backstroke – Levenia Sim finished the heats with a timing of 29.19s, while Faith Elizabeth Kohh finished with a timing of 29.85s. Both did not advance to the final.
Women’s 200m Freestyle – Gan Ching Hwee finished seventh in the final, after clocking 2:02.26. She had qualified for the finals after clocking 2:01.31 in the heats. Ashley Lim did not qualify for the final after clocking 2.08.35 in the heats.
Men’s 100m Breaststroke – Maximilian Ang clocked 1:02.22 in the final and finished last among eight competitors. He clocked 1:01.91 in the heats.
Women’s 200m Individual Medley – Letitia Sim finished seventh after clocking 2:15.51 in the final. She clocked 2:15.59 in the heats earlier in the day.
Men’s 50m Freestyle – Jonathan Tan clocked 22.11 in the final, narrowly missing out on a medal as he finished fourth. He had clocked 22.15 in the heats earlier in the day.
Teong Tzen Wei clocked 22.26 and finished sixth. He qualified for the final after winning a swim-off against Korea’s Baek Inchul with a timing of 22.24. Both were tied in eighth place in the heats, after clocking 22.68.
Men’s 4x200m Freestyle Relay – Glen Lim, Ardi Zulhilmi, Jerald Lium and Darren Chua missed out on a medal after finishing fourth with a timing of 7:17.98. They clocked 7:21.57 in the heats earlier in the day.
Shooting
Men’s 10m Air Rifle Individual – Both Tang Hong An and Lionel Wong did not qualify for the final. Hong An scored 625.8 and placed 20th out of 55, while Lione scored 625.7 and came in 21st.
Men 10m Running Target Individual – Li Jie scored 553-8x, and finished 10th among 18 competitors.
Field Hockey
Women’s Team – Singapore lost 4-0 to South Korea in the first pool stage game. The team will take on India on Sep 27 at 12.45pm.
Table Tennis
Mixed Doubles – Koen Pang and Wong Xin Ru beat Tajikistan’s Ubaydullo Sultonov and Amiri Sumayai 3-0 (11-8, 11-6, 11-5) in the round of 64. They will play in the round of 32 on Sep 27.
Clarence Chew and Zeng Jian beat Vietnam’s Dinh Anh Hoang and Tran Mai Ngoc 3-1 (9-11, 11-5, 11-8, 11-6) in the round of 64. They will play in the round of 32 on Sep 27.
Rugby Sevens
Women’s Team – Singapore beat India 15-0 and finished third among four teams in Pool F. Singapore will play against either Kazakhstan or India in the 5th/6th placing playoff on Sep 26 at 12.30pm.
Men’s Team – Singapore lost to China 36-17 in the quarter finals. The men’s team will take on Malaysia in the 5th to 8th placing playoffs on Sep 26 at 10.25am.
Weiqi
Men’s individual – Kwa Jie Hui suffered his second defeat of the campaign against Thailand’s Wichrich Karuehawanit, losing by a score of 2-0. He will play against Malaysia’s Lee Shou Kai next at 3pm.
Kang Zhanbin lost to Korea’s Park Jeong Hwan 2-0. He takes on China’s Ke Jie later at 3pm.
Fencing
Women’s Individual Foil – Amita Berthier won two bouts of six in the pool stage. In the Table of 16, she defeated Uzbekistan’s Ilyosova Umida 15-14. She crashed out in the quarter-finals after losing to Hong Sena, losing 15-11.
Maxine Wong won three bouts of six in the pool stage. In the Table of 16, she lost to Japan’s Azuma Sera 15-3.

Cycling (Mountain Bike)
Men’s Individual Cross Country – Riyad Hakim Lukman clocked a timing of 1:54.04 in the final and finished ninth out of 17.
Water Polo
Women’s Team – Singapore lost to Kazakhstan 12-6 in their first round robin match. They will take on China next on Sep 26 at 7pm
Sailing
Men Kiteboarding (IKA Formula Kite) – Maximilian Maeder finishes first after 16 races – which isn’t a surprise, considering he finished first in all races. He scored 13 net points, a whopping 13 points fewer than China’s Zhang Haoran in second spot. The result meant that Maximilian advanced into the final, which takes place on Sep 27.
Men Single Handed Dinghy (ILCA 7) – Ryan Lo holds onto his lead after nine races, with 19 net points.
Men Skiff (49ER) – Koh Yi Nian and Tan Jen-E move up to sixth after 12 races. They have 58 net points.
Men Windfoiling (IQFOIL) – Races were rescheduled and will resume on Sep 26. Elkan Reshawn Oh is currently ranked seventh after 14 races, with 78 net points.
Mixed Multihull (NACRA 17) – Denise Lim and Justin Liu continue to be ranked second after 12 races. They have 26 net points.
Single Handed Boys (ILCA 4) – Isaac Goh continues to be in second place after 10 races. He has 20 net points, and trail Thailand’s Weka Bahnubandh who has 11 net points. The last race will be held on Sep 26.
Single Handed Girls (ILCA 4) – Keira Marie Carlyle drops to fourth spot after 10 races. She has 27 net points.
Women Single Handed Dinghy (ILCA 6) – Victoria Chan is now ranked second after nine races. She has 27 net points.
Women Skiff (49ERFX) – Kimberly Lim and Cecilia Low continue to be ranked second after 12 races. They have 29 net points. The last two races take place on Sep 26.
Women Windfoiling (IQFOIL) – Races were rescheduled and will resume on Sep 26. Marsha Shahrin is currently ranked fourth after 14 races, with 44 net points.
Chess
Gong Qianyun defeated Bangladesh’s Anjum Noshin 1-0 and drew ½ – ½ against Vietnam’s Pham Le Thao Nguyen. Qianyun has a win, a draw and a loss after three rounds played.
Gymnastics
Women (Artistic) Team – Emma Yap, Kaitlyn Lim, Nadine Joy Nathan and Shandy Poh scored 140.0976, which placed them seventh out of eight.
Women (Artistic) Individual All-Around – Nadine Joy Nathan scored 47.466 and finished 15th out of 28 in the qualification round. Kaitlyn scored 46.531 and finished 18th, Shandy Poh scored 43.932 and finished 24th, while Emma scored 40.798 and finished 27th.
Women (Artistic) Balance Beam – Nadine Joy Nathan scored 12.600 and finished ninth out of 36 in the qualification round. Kaitlyn Lim scored 24.466 and finished 11th, Shandy Poh scored 11.266 and finished 27th, while Emma Yap scored 9.066 and finished 35th.
Sep 24
Shooting
Women 10m Air Rifle individual qualification – Fernel Tan scored 628.8 and finished 10th out of 62. Eunice Leow scored 622.1 and finished 31st out of 62. Martina Veloso scored 626.0 and came in 20th out of 62. All three shooters did not advance to the finals.
Women 10m Air Rifle team final – The team of Fernal Tan, Eunice Leow and Martina Veloso finished fourth out of 15 with a total score of 1876.9.

Fencing
Men Individual Foil Table Of 32 – Singapore’s Au Eong Tian Wei Jonathan lost to India’s Bibish Kathiresan 12-15 and did not advance to the Table of 16. Teammate Kieren Lock Hoy-In lost to Taiwan’s Chen Chih Chieh 14-15 and also did not advance to Table of 16.
Women Individual Epee – Elle Koh had won four out of five bouts in the Epee Pool and received a BYE in Table of 32. She then lost to Uzbekistan’s Dilnaz Murzataeva 12-15 in the Table of 16 and did not advance to the quarter finals.
Kiria Tikanah won three out of five bouts in the Epee Pool and advanced to the Table of 32. She defeated Thailand’s Korawan Thanee 15-7 and advanced to the Table of 16. In the Table of 16, Kiria lost to Korea’s Choi Injeong 11-15 and did not advance to the quarter finals.
Taekwondo
Men Individual Poomsae – Singapore’s Yap Zong Han Darren lost to Thailand’s Nuttapat Kaewkan with a score of 106.7 – 107.4. Darren did not advance to the quarter finals.
Women Individual Poomsae – Singapore’s Diyanah Aqidah Binte Muhammad Dian Khudhairi beat Nepal’s Swastika Tamang with a score of 105.8 – 101.3 in the round of 16 and advanced to the quarter finals. Diyanah then lost to Taiwan’s Chen Hsin Ya with the score of 106.8 – 108.8, and did not advance to the semi finals.
Rowing
Women Double Sculls (W2x) Final B – Joan Poh Xue Hua & Teo Zhi Xuan finished third out of four with a timing of 7:46.15. They ranked ninth out of 10 overall.
Swimming
Men 100m Backstroke Heats – Zachary Ian Tan finished with a time of 57.08 and came in 12th out of 29. Zackery Tay Quan Long set a new personal best with the timing of 57.47, finishing 14th out of 29. Both swimmers did not advance to the finals.
Women 200m Butterfly – Quah Jing Wen finished fifth out of eight in the finals with a timing of 2:10.13. She had earlier finished fourth in the heats with a timing of 2:11.47
Men 200m Individual Medley – Zachary Ian Tan came in seventh place out of eight in the finals with a timing of 2:02.94. He had earlier finished seventh out of 27 with a timing of 2:02.44 in the heats. Maximillian Ang Wei clocked the timing of 2:03.21 and came in last in the finals. He came in eighth out of 27 with a timing of 2:03.08 in the heats.
Men 100m Freestyle – In the finals, Jonathan Tan Eu Jin completed the race in 48.94, coming in sixth place out of eight. Quah Zheng Wen finished with a time of 49.27, placing last. Earlier in the heats, Jonathan clocked a time of 49.12, earning the fifth position out of 44. Zheng Wen recorded a time of 49.28, securing the eighth position.
Women 50m Breaststroke – Sim En Yi Letitia came in seventh out of eight in the finals, with a timing of 31.15. She set a new National Record and Personal Best. In the heats, Letitia came in sixth out of 25 with a timing of 31.22. Teammate Christie May Chue Mun Ee had come in 12th out of 25 and did not qualify for the finals.
Women 4 X 100m Freestyle Relay – The team of Quah Ting Wen, Quah Jing Wen, Nur Marina Chan Shi Min Alif Abdullah and Lim Xiang Qi Amanda finished fourth out of eight places in the finals with a timing of 3:44.16. They had earlier finished third out of 10 places with a timing of 3:46.87 in the heats.
Women 1500m Freestyle final – Gan Ching Hwee finished in fourth place with a timing of 16:24.67.

Field Hockey
Pakistan beat Singapore 11 – 0. Singapore will play against India on Sep 26 at 9am.
Football
Singapore lost 0-7 to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. The two teams will play against each other again in the next group match on Sep 27 at 4pm.
Rugby Sevens
Men’s team – Singapore defeated Thailand 21-12 in their first round robin match, before losing 41-7 to Japan later in the day. The results saw them finish second behind Japan in Pool C, enough for them to secure a spot in the quarter finals, where they will face China on Sep 25.
Women’s team – Singapore lost to Japan 57-0 in their first round robin match. Later in the day, they suffered a 29-0 defeat to Hong Kong. The team will next face India on Sep 25.
Wushu
Women’s Tajiquan & Taijijian all-round combined finals – Vera Tan finished seventh overall, while Zeanne Law finished eighth overall.
Vera scored 9.703 in Tajiquan and 9.620 in Tajijian, for a combined score of 19.323. SZean scored 9.746 for Tajiquan and 9.553 for Tajijian, for a combined score of 19.299.
Table Tennis

Zeng Jian lost to Cheng I-Ching 1-3 (9-11, 9-11, 13-11, 11-13) in the first game, Xin Ru lost to Chen Szu-Yu 0-3 (3-11, 7-11, 4-11) in the second game, while Zhou Jingyi lost to Li Yu-Jhun 2-3 (14-12, 8-11, 12-14,11-5, 4-11) in the third game.
Men’s Team – Singapore defeated Thailand 3-0 in the round of 16. Koen Pang defeated Sarayut Tangcharoen 3-1 (11-5, 6-11, 11-8, 11-7) in the first game, Izaac Quak beat Phakpoom Sanguansin 3-0 (11-9. 11-6, 11-8) in the second game, and Clarence Chew defeated Napat Thanmathikom 3-0 (11-6, 11-7, 11-4) in the third game.
However, in the quarter-finals, the Singapore men’s team lost to China 0-3. Koen Pang lost to Fan Zhendong 0-3 (9-11, 6-11, 4-11), Isaac Quek lost to Wang Chuqin 0-3 (6-11, 8-11, 5-11) and Clarence Chew lost to Ma Long 0-3 (7-11, 5-11, 5-11).

In the second game, Zeng Jian defeated Sikka Suwal Shrestha 3-0 (11-2, 11-1, 11-4). In the third game, Wong Xin Ru defeated Evana Thapa Magar 3-0 (11-3, 11-7, 11-4).
In the second round robin match, the Singapore women’s team were defeated 3-2 by India.
In the first game, Zeng Jian defeated Ayhika Mukherjee three sets to one (7-11, 11-2, 11-7, 12-10). Zhou Jinyi lost the second game to Manika Batra by a score of 3-1 (9-11, 11-9, 7-11, 3-11). Wong Xin Ru lost 3-2 (14-12, 9-11, 11-8, 9-11, 7-11) in the third game to Sreeja Akula. Zeng Jian won 3-2 (11-3, 3-11, 12-10, 10-12, 12-10) against Manika Batra in the fourth game to level the score, before Zhou Jingyi lost the deciding fifth game 3-1 (7-11, 8-11, 11-9, 5-11) to Ayhika Mukherjee.

In the second round robin match, the Singapore men’s team lost 3-1 to India.
Izaac Quek lost the first game 3-1 (11-5, 10-12, 6-11, 9-11) to Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, while Koen Pang lost 3-2 (10-12, 8-11, 11-6, 11-6, 5-11) in the second game to Harmeet Rajul Desai. Clarence Chew pulled one back for Singapore in the third game, defeated Sharath Kamal Achanta 3-1 (13-11, 11-8, 10-12, 11-5), but defeat for Koen Pang in the fourth game to Sathiyan by a score of 3-1 (7-11, 12-10, 9-11, 6-11) sealed the loss for Singapore.
