The 32nd Southeast Asia (SEA) Games will see 558 Team Singapore athletes competing across 30 sports across a few cities including Phnom Penh and Siem Reap in Cambodia.
The Games take place from May 5 to 17, although some sports have started their competitions since Apr 29.
As of May 16, Team Singapore has won 51 gold medals, 43 silver medals and 64 bronze medals.
Here are the results and schedule for the Team Singapore squad in Cambodia.
May 16
Judo
In the Mixed Team Quarter Finals, Singapore fell to a 4-1 defeat to Vietnam.
Singapore missed out on the bronze medal in the Mixed Team Bronze Medal match after losing to the Philippines 4-0. They finished joint fifth place out of nine.
Wrestling
In the Men’s Freestyle 79kg Round Robin, Gary Chow clinched the silver medal after falling to a narrow defeat to Indonesia’s Randa Riandesta.
Lim Zi Xyan won the joint bronze medal after a 7-3 win against the Philippines’s Jhonnygadugdug Morte In the Men’s Freestyle 65kg semi finals.
In the Round Robin, Lim defeated Thailand’s Sutdi Thanwa 6-0 and fell to a 10-0 defeat to Indonesia’s Hamka Hamka.
Both Mohamed Qayyum Yusoff Bin Abdullah (Men’s Freestyle 70kg Round Robin) and Eddy Zulqarnain Bin Khidzer (Men’s 61kg Round Robin) failed to progress to the semi finals and finished in third place out of three.
Field Hockey
The men’s team clinched the silver medal after a 3-0 defeat to Malaysia in the final.
Beach Volleyball
The women’s team missed out on the bronze medal after falling to a 2-0 defeat against Vietnam in the Bronze Medal Playoff.
Sepak Takraw
Singapore won the joint bronze medal in the Men’s Regu Round Robin despite suffering back-to-back 2-0 defeats against Thailand and Malaysia.
Basketball
In the Men’s 5×5, Singapore finished in seventh place out of eight after beating Laos 84-49 in the 7th and 8th Placing Playoff.
Fencing
Singapore won the gold medal after winning 45-37 against the Philippines in the final of the Women’s Team Epee.
In the Men’s Team Foil Final, Singapore clinched its 40th silver medal after losing 45-37 to Vietnam.
Table Tennis
Zeng Jian won the gold medal in the final of the Women’s Singles after beating Suthasini Sawettabut with a score of 4-3.
Izaac Quek clinched Singapore’s 50th gold medal after a 4-0 win against Vietnam’s Anh Tu Nguyen in the final of the Men’s Singles.
Wrestling
In the Men’s Freestyle 125kg Round Robin, Timothy Loh clinched the gold medal after beating Cambodia’s Dorn Sao 4-0 and Laos’s Lerdxai Khamtama 11-0.
Water Polo
The men’s team won the gold medal after beating Cambodia 22-14 in the Round Robin.
The women’s team won the silver medal after beating Indonesia 10-6.

Cricket
Singapore clinched the bronze medal after beating the Philippines 93-92 in the Men’s T10 Bronze Medal Playoff.
Floorball
The women’s team picked up the gold medal after a 4-2 win against Thailand in the final.
The men’s team won the bronze medal after winning 3-1 against Malaysia in the 3rd Placing match.
May 15
Wrestling
In the Women’s 57kg Round Robin, Danielle Lim won the silver medal after defeating both Cambodia’s Keatha Sim and Vietnam’s Thi My Trang Nguyen with a score of 10-0.
In the Women’s Wrestling 76kg Round Robin, Jezamine Chua clinched the bronze medal after finishing third out of three.
Alvina Lim finished fifth out of five.

Badminton
Johann Prajogo and Nge Joo Jie picked up the joint bronze medal after losing 2-0 to Indonesia’s Pramudya Kusumawardana and Rambitan Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob in the semi finals of the Men’s Doubles.
Cricket
Singapore clinched the gold medal after winning 97-71 against Cambodia in the Men’s Sixes Round Robin.
The women’s team missed out on the bronze medal after a narrow 54-51 loss against Malaysia in the T20 Bronze Medal Playoff.
Fencing
In the Women’s Team Foil Final, Singapore won the gold medal after beating Vietnam 45-23.
Singapore also clinched the silver medal in the Men’s Team Sabre Final after a 45-31 loss against Vietnam.
Table Tennis
Clarence Chew failed to progress to the semi finals after falling to a 2-0 defeat to Malaysia’s Leong Chee Feng.
Izaac Quek progressed to the semi finals after a 4-2 win against Malaysia’s Wong Qi Shen. He will next face Wong’s teammate, Leong Chee Feng in the semi finals.
In the Women Singles, Zeng Jian advanced to the semi finals after beating the Philippines’s Kheith Rhynne Baldemoro Cruz 4-1. She will next face Thailand’s Orawan Paranang tomorrow.
Zhou Jingyi failed to progress to the semi finals after losing 4-3 to Thailand’s Orawan Paranang.
Basketball
In the Women’s 5×5, Singapore finished in seventh place out of seven after losing to Vietnam 77-55.
Floorball
Despite a 3-1 loss against Thailand, the women’s team still advanced to the Final. They finished in second place out of five in the group stage.
The men’s team suffered a narrow 4-3 defeat to Thailand and have advanced to the Bronze Medal Playoff against Malaysia tomorrow.
Sepak Takraw
Singapore finished in fourth place out of four and failed to progress to the semi finals after a 2-0 defeat to Indonesia in the Men’s Quadrant Round Robin.
Judo
Aaron Ng won the joint bronze medal after beating Indonesia’s Pasek Karisna 1-0 in the Bronze Medal match of the Men’s 90kg.
Valerie Teo clinched the joint bronze medal after beating Malaysia’s Goh Xuan Le in the Women’s Under 52kg.
Shaldon Ng lost 1-0 against Cambodia’s Uno Shintaro in the semi finals of the Men’s Under 73kg. He eventually finished fifth place out of seven after later losing to Indonesia’s Qoriamrulllah Al Haq Nugraha with a score of 1-0 in the Repechage round.
Xiangqi
In the Men’s Blitz Team division, despite losing 2-0 to Vietnam in the fourth round, Alvin Woo and Low Yi Hao still picked up the gold medal with an overall first place finish out of six.
Taekwondo
Dylan Chia advanced to the semi finals of the Men’s Under 63kg Kyorugi after winning 2-1 against the Philippines’s Joseph Tumaca Chua.
Nichelle Tan lost 2-0 to Cambodia’s Mam Julie in the quarter finals of the Women’s Under 53kg Kyorugi.
Water Polo
The men’s team beat the Philippines 10-4 in the Round Robin. They will next face Cambodia tomorrow.
Field Hockey
The women’s team won the bronze medal after defeating Thailand 1-0 in the pool stage.
May 14
Water Polo
The women’s team saw a 10-6 win against Indonesia in the Round Robin. Their overall placing will be determined on Tuesday.
The men’s team defeated Indonesia 12-5. They will next play the Philippines tomorrow.
Finswimming
In the Men’s 50m Bi-Fins Final, Rayen Ong finished last out of eight with a timing of 21.33 seconds.
In the Heats, Rayen successfully qualified for the Final after coming in eighth out of 11, with a timing of 21.29 seconds. Jordan Ong finished in ninth place and did not qualify for the Final.
However, Rayen failed to qualify for the Men’s 400m Bi-Fins Final after finishing in ninth place out of 11, clocking in at a timing of 3:55.54.
In the Men’s 200m Surface Final, Lucas Chew finished in sixth place out of seven and set a new personal best with a timing of 1:38.01. Nicholas Choon also set himself a new personal best after finishing behind him with a timing of 1:43.36.
In the Women’s 200m Surface Final, Vanessa Ong finished in fifth place out of seven with a timing of 1:44.63. Jamie Ang finished behind her with a timing of 1:45.07. Both of them also failed to qualify for the Women’s 50m Bi-Fins Final after coming in 11th and 12th place out of 13 respectively.
Vanessa finished with a timing of 24.01 seconds while Jamie clocked in a timing that was 13 seconds later.
In the Women’s 800m Surface Final, Jovita Ho came in seventh place out of eight, clocking in at a timing of 9:16.28. Vanessa Ong did not start the race.
In the Men’s 800m Surface Final, Damien Seok Zi Hao was disqualified.
Table Tennis
Clarence Chew and Zeng Jian won the silver medal after losing 3-1 against Vietnam’s Mai Ngoc Tran and Anh Hoang Dinh in the Mixed Doubles Final.
Wong Xin Ru and Zhou Jingyi also clinched the silver medal after losing 3-0 to Thailand’s Suthasini Sawettabut and Orawan Paranang in the final of the Women Doubles.
Ser Lin Qian and Goh Rui Xian picked up the joint bronze medal after losing 3-0 to Thailand’s Suthasini Sawettabut and Orawan Paranang.
Beh Kun Ting and Ethan Poh won the joint bronze medal after losing 3-1 to Malaysia’s Javen Choong and Wong Qi Shen in the semi finals of the Men’s Doubles.
In the Men’s Doubles, Koen Pang and Izaac Yong clinched the gold medal after beating Malaysia’s Javen Choong and Wong Qi Shen 3-1 in the final.
In the Men’s Singles, Izaac Quek defeated the Philippines’s Richard Pugoy Gonzales 3-0 in the first round. He will next face Vietnam’s Anh Tu Nguyen tomorrow. Clarence Chew won 3-1 against Laos’s Phinith Kongphet. He will next play against Thailand’s Padasak Tanviriyavechakul tomorrow.
In the women’s singles, Zeng Jian beat Cambodia’s Michelle Annika 3-0 in the first round. She will next face Malaysia’s Alice Chang tomorrow.
Traditional Boat Race
In the Men’s 12 Crews (Open) 500m Final, Singapore finished in fifth place out of six, with a timing of 2:23.437.
Basketball
In the Women’s 5×5, Singapore lost to Indonesia with a score of 86-39. They will next face Vietnam tomorrow.
Cricket
In the Men’s T10 Round Robin, Singapore fell to a narrow defeat to Thailand with a score of 84-83. They will face the Philippines in the Bronze medal playoff on Tuesday.
In the Men’s Sixes Round Robin, despite losing 84-80 to the Philippines earlier today, SIngapore managed to win 85-71 against Indonesia. They will next play against Cambodia tomorrow.
Beach Volleyball
The men’s team suffered a 2-0 defeat against Indonesia in the preliminary round. Their progression to the next stage will be determined after completion of all the round robin matches today.
The women’s team also lost 2-0 against Thailand in the semi finals. They will next face Vietnam in the Bronze Medal Playoff tomorrow.
Floorball
The women’s team remained unbeaten in the group stage after securing another 5-0 victory against the Philippines. They will next face Thailand tomorrow.
The men’s team fell to a 2-1 defeat against the Philippines. They will next face Thailand tomorrow.
Fencing
The women’s team won the joint bronze medal after losing 45-42 to Vietnam in the Sabre Table of 8.
In the semi finals of the Men’s Epee, Singapore won the joint bronze medal after losing 44-37 to Thailand.
Sepak Takraw
In the Men Doubles Round Robin, Singapore failed to advance to the semi finals after losing 2-0 to Malaysia. They have finished in third place out of four.
Badminton
In the Women’s Singles, Nur Insyirah Khan Binte Abdul Hamid Khan lost 2-0 against Thailand’s Supanida Katethong. Megan Lee was defeated by Indonesia’s Komang Ayu Chaya Dewi, with a score of 2-0.
In the quarter finals of the Women’s Doubles, Heng Xiao En and Lai Yi Ting fell to a 2-0 defeat against Malaysia’s Cheng Su Hui and Cheng Su Yin.
In the Men’s Doubles, Johann Prajogo and Nge Joo Jie successfully advanced to the semi finals after beating Chia Weijie and Liew Xun 2-0.
Taekwondo
Xavier Tan lost 2-0 to Thailand’s Jack Woody Mercer in the quarter finals of the Men’s Under 74kg.
Nur Fadzlyn Binte Mohd Zahruddin won the joint bronze medal after falling to a 2-0 defeat to Thailand’s Wongpattanakit Panipak in the Women’s Under 49kg semi finals.
Xiangqi
In the Men’s Rapid Team, Ng Junyang and Low Yi Hao picked up the joint bronze after finishing in fourth place out of six after five rounds. They have beaten Thailand and the Philippines and lost to Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam, all with the score of 2-0.
Field Hockey
The men’s team have advanced to the final after grabbing a 6-1 win against Thailand in the pool stage. They will next face Malaysia on Tuesday.

Judo
In the Men’s 66kg Round Robin, Zhou Yujie picked up the joint bronze medal, while Zhen Yuxuan finished in fifth place out of five In the Women’s 70kg Round Robin.
In the quarter finals of the Women’s 57kg, Tang Jingfang finished in fifth place out of seven.
Wrestling
Despite losing 8-0 to the Philippines’s Jasoncasinto Balabal, Aryan Bin Azman clinched the silver medal after grabbing a 4-3 win against Cambodia’s Sophak Keo in the Men’s Greco-Roman 82kg Round Robin,
Eddy Zulqarnain Bin Khidzer and Timothy Loh Yu picked up the bronze medal in the Men’s Greco-Roman 60kg and 130kg Round Robin respectively.
In the Men’s Greco-Roman 77kg Round Robin, Gadiel Raid Al-Qudrah finished in fifth place out of five.
May 13
Finswimming
In the Men’s 50m Surface Final, Jordan Ong finished in seventh place out of eight with a timing of 18.54 seconds.
In the Heats, Jordan came in eighth out of 13 with a timing of 18.28 seconds, setting himself a new national record and personal best. Nicholas Choon came in 12th place with a timing of 19.95 seconds, setting himself a new personal best.
In the Women’s 50m Surface Final, Bernice Ting came in sixth out of eight, clocking in at a timing of 20.50 seconds. Jamie Ang finished last out of the eight with a timing of 20.59 seconds.
In the Heats, Jamie finished in sixth place out of nine, with a timing of 20.7 seconds. Bernice came in behind Jamie by 8 seconds.
In the Men’s 200m Bi-Fins Final, Rayen Ong came in seventh out of eight with a timing of 1:45.85. This was a second later than his timing in the Heats where he also finished in seventh place out of 11.
In the Women’s 200m Bi-Fins Final, Dawn Koh finished in fourth place out of eight with a timing of 1:57.97, setting herself a new personal best. R’yen Ong came in sixth place, clocking in at a timing of 2:02.74, which is also a her personal best.
In the Men’s 400m Surface Heats, both Lucas Chew and Damien Seok failed to advance to the finals. Lucas came in ninth out of 11, clocking in at a timing of 3:41.22. Damien finished behind him, with a timing of 4:01.54, which is also a new personal best.
In the Men’s 4x100m Surface Final, Singapore came in fifth out of sixth place with a timing of 2:55.59, setting a new national record.
The women’s team finished in fourth place out of five, clocking in at a timing of 3:04.63.
In the Women’s 400m Surface Final, Vanessa Ong came in fifth place out of six, clocking in at a timing of 3:52.20. Jovita Ho was disqualified.
Cricket
In the Men’s T10 Round Robin, Singapore defeated Malaysia 107-98. They will next face Thailand tomorrow.
Kickboxing
Muhammad Nazri Bin Sutari suffered a 3-0 defeat to Vietnam’s Quan Kieu Duy in the quarter finals of the Men’s Below 71kg.
Fencing
In the Men’s Individual Foil Pool, Samuel Robson picked up the gold medal after defeating the Philippines’s Tranquilan Sammuel in the Final.
Max Neo lost 15-9 to Thailand’s Deejing Ratchanavi in the Round of 16.

In the semi finals of the Women’s Epee, Kiria Tikanah Abdul Rahman picked up the joint bronze medal after losing to Elle Koh with a narrow score of 12-11. Elle then clinched the gold medal after defeating Vietnam’s Vu Thi Hong in the Women’s Epee Final.
Judo
In the Men’s Kime No Kata Final, Soh Keng Chuan and Benny Tan clinched the joint bronze medal after finishing in fourth place out of four, with a score of 507.5.
Indoor Volleyball
The women’s team defeated Myanmar 3-2 in the 5th to 8th Placing. They will next face Malaysia tomorrow.
Field Hockey
The men’s team grabbed a 4-1 win against Cambodia. They will next face Thailand tomorrow.
The women’s team drew 2-2 to Cambodia in the pool stage. They will next face Thailand on Monday.
Xiangqi
In the fifth round of the Men’s Standard Single, Alvin Woo Tsung Han drew 1-1 to Vietnam’s Thanh Bao Nguyen. Overall, he finished second out of 12 and picked up the silver medal.
Ng Junyang finished in fifth place after beating the Philippines’s Jackson Gomez Hong with a score of 2-0.
In the Women’s Standard Single, Ngo Lan Huong won the gold medal after securing a 2-0 win against Fiona Tan in the fifth round.
Fiona won the joint bronze medal and finished in fourth place out of nine.
Taekwondo
Keston Pang won the joint bronze medal after losing 2-0 to the Philippines’s Kurt Bryan Dela Vega Barbosa in the semi finals of the Men’s Under 54kg Kyorugi.
Basketball
In the Men’s 5×5, Singapore lost to the Philippines with a score of 105-45. Their final ranking is in fourth place out of four and will advance to the 7th and 8th placing match that will be held on Tuesday.
Traditonal Boat Race
In the first Grand Final of the Men’s 12 Crews (Open) 250m, Singapore finished in fourth place out of five, with a timing of 1:06.187.
In the second final, Singapore came in fourth out of five, clocking in at a time of 1:06.371. They finished fourth overall with a combined timing of 2:12.558.
In the Women’s 3 Crew (U-24) 250m Grand Final 1, Singapore finished in fourth place out of four, clocking in at a timing of 2:18.20.
Badminton
In the Mixed Doubles, Donovan Wee and Heng Xiao En failed to progress to the quarter finals after falling to a 2-0 defeat to Malaysia’s Roy Yap and Cheng Su Yin in the Round of 16.
In the Women’s Doubles Round of 16, Heng Xiao En and Elsa Lai defeated Cambodia’s Chheng Huy and Seavty Teav with a score of 2-1.
In the Round of 16 of the Men’s Singles, Marcus Lau missed out on the quarter finals after falling to Thailand’s Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul, with a score of 2-0.
In the Round of 16 of the Women’s Singles, Nur Insyirah Khan Binte Abdul Hamid Khan defeated Cambodia’s Heang Leakhana 2-0.
In the Men’s Singles, Joel Koh failed to progress to the quarter finals after losing 2-0 to Malaysia’s Leong Jun Hao.
In the Round of 16 of the Men’s Doubles, Johann Prajogo and Nge Joo Jie won 2-0 against Cambodia’s Heng Mengleap and Yam Samnang.

Singapore failed to advance to the semi finals of the Men’s Mobile Legends Bang Bang after losing 1-0 to Indonesia in the group stage.
Water Polo
The men’s team beat Malaysia 14-1. They will next play Indonesia tomorrow.
Table Tennis
In the quarter finals of the Mixed Doubles, Koen Pang and Wong Xin Ru fell to a 3-1 defeat to Thailand’s Sarayut Tancharoen and Wanwisa Aueawiriyayothin. Zeng Jian and Clarence Chew advanced to the semi finals after beating the Philippines’s Edouard Imperial Valenet and Angelou Joyce 3-2.
In the quarter finals of the Men’s Doubles, Beh Kun Ting and Ethan Poh defeated Thailand’s Napat Thanmathikom and Phakpoom Sanguansin with a score of 3-2. They will face Malaysia’s Javen Choong and Wong Qi Shen tomorrow.
Koen Pang and Izaac Quek have also progressed to the semi finals after securing a 3-1 win against Thailand’s Sarayut Tancharoen and Sitisak Nuchchart. They will face the Philippines’s Richard Gonzales and John Misal tomorrow.
In the quarter finals of the Women’s Doubles, Zhou Jingyi and Wong Xin Ru secured a 3-0 win against Thailand’s Jinnipa Sawettabut and Tamolwan Khetkuan. They will face Malaysia’s Alice Chang and Im Li Ying tomorrow.
Goi Rui Xian and Ser Lin Qian have also progressed to the semi finals after beating Malaysia’s Karen Lyne and Tee Ai Xin. They will face Thailand’s Suthasini Sawettabut and Orawan Paranang tomorrow.

In the quarter finals of the Men’s Snooker Singles, Chan Keng Kwang fell to a 4-2 defeat to Malaysia’s Thor Chuan Leong.
May 12
Finswimming
In the Women’s 100m Surface Final, Bernice Ting came in sixth place out of eight, clocking in at a timing of 45.33 seconds. Jamie Ang finished behind her with a timing of 45.36 seconds.
In the Heats, Bernice finished in sixth while Jamie finished in seventh out of 10, with timings of 45.30 and 46.16 seconds respectively.
In the Men’s 100m Surface Heats, Rayen finished in ninth place out of 13 with a timing of 47.20 seconds. Jordan came in last with a timing of 49.04 seconds and did not qualify for the final.
In the Women’s 400m Bi-Fins Final, Dawn Koh finished in fourth place out of eight and set a new national record and personal best with a timing of 4:13.46. R’yen Ong came in sixth with a timing of 4:20.90, which is also a new personal best.
In the Heats, Dawn came in fifth place out of nine while R’yen finished in seventh, with timings of 4:17.16 and 4:24.52 respectively.
In the Women’s 100m Bi-Fins Final, Dawn also finished in seventh place out of eight with a timing of 51.70 seconds.
In the Heats, she finished in 11th place out of 14 while Vanessa came in seventh, with timings of 54.29 and 52.06 seconds respectively.
In the Women’s 800m Surface Relay Final, Bernice Ting, Jovita Ho, Jamie Ang and Vanessa Ong finished in fourth place out of four, clocking in at a timing of 7:10.29.
Lucas Chew, Damien Seok, Nicholas Choon and Jordan Ong finished in fifth place out of six at the Men’s 4x200m Relay Final, with a timing of 7:00.02.
Rayen Ong, Jamie Ang, Ong Jun Han and siblings Jordan Ong and Vanessa Ong gave Singapore a fifth place finish out of seven in the Mixed 4x100m Bi-Fins Relay Final, clocking in at a timing of 3:20.29.
Athletics
In the Women’s 100m Final, Shanti Pereira clinched her second gold medal with a timing of 11.41 seconds. Elizabeth-Ann Tan came in sixth place out of eight with a timing of 11.96 seconds.
In the Heats, Shanti also came in first out of 13 while Elizabeth-Ann came in sixth, with timings of 11.49 and 12 seconds respectively.
In the Men’s 100m Final, Marc Louis clinched the silver medal, clocking in at a timing of 10.39 seconds. Joshua Chua finished in sixth place out of eight with a timing of 10.78 seconds.
In the Women’s 10000m Final, Vanessa Lee came in seventh place out of 13 and set a new personal best with a timing of 37.46.21. Toh Ting Xuan came in 10th, clocking in at a timing of 39.20.64.
Ng Chin Hui, Zubin Muncherji Thiruben S/O Thana Rajan and Calvin Quek finished in fifth place out of five in the Men’s 4x400m Relay Final, setting a new national record with a timing of 3:10.11.
Fencing
Dan Wei Zuo picked up the joint bronze medal after losing 15-5 to Thailand’s Srinualnad Voragun in the semi finals of the Men’s Individual Sabre Pool.
Nicholas Loo failed to advance beyond the Table of 8 after losing 15-10 to Brunei’s Muhd Anaqi Danish Bin Asahrin.
In the Women’s Individual Foil Final, Maxine Wong clinched the gold medal after defeating the Philippines’s Catantan Samantha Kyle Lim by walkover.
Cheung Kemei won the joint bronze medal after losing 15-6 to the Philippines’s Catantan Samantha Kyle Lim in the semi finals.
Taekwondo
In the Men’s Freestyle Individual Final, Darren Yap finished in fifth place out of six with a final score of 6.300.
Diyanah Aqidah Binte Muhammad Dian Khudhairi won the silver medal at the Women’s Recognized Poomsae Individual Final, with a final score of 7.260

Ranen also won the joint bronze medal with Aloysius Yeo and Nicholas Khaw at the Men’s Recognized Poomsae Team Final. They finished fourth out of six with a final score of 7.290.
Xiangqi
In the third round of the Women’s Standard Single, Fiona Tan defeated Malaysia’s Vespera Ang 2-0. She will next face Vespera’s fellow teammate Jee Xin Ru tomorrow.
Ngo Lan Huong drew against Vietnam’s Thi Kim Loan Le. She will next go up against Kim’s teammate Thi Thuy Dung Dam tomorrow.

Nur Tuhfah Izzah Binte Md Roslan beat the Philippnes’s Shara Julia Jizmundo 66-19 in the quarter-finals of the women’s Tanding (below 45kg) event. She will face Malaysia’s Norsyakirah Muksin in the semi-finals, which will be played tomorrow.
Sheik Ferdous Bin Sheik Alau’ddin defeated Brunei’s Md Syukrii Md Sufri in the quarter-finals of the men’s Tanding G (75kg-80kg) event, with a score of 21-1. He will face Malaysia’s Afiq Aniq Fazly in the semi-finals tomorrow.
Muhammad Shaiman Johanis crashed out in the quarter-finals of the men’s Tanding A (45kg – 50kg) event, after losing to Cambodia’s Vorn Soksreymompisal 63-50.
Aniq ‘Asri bin Mohammad Yazid was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the men’s Tanding B (50-55kg), after losing 39-28 to Thailand’s Sarayut Srakaew.
Muhammad Hazim Bin Mohamad Yusli was also eliminated in the quarter-finals of the men’s Tanding C (55kg – 60kg) after losing to Thailand’s Phiraphon Mitthasan 22-19.
Abdul Raazaq Bin Abdul Rashid fell to a heavy defeat to Indonesia’s Iqbal Candra Pratama in the men’s Tanding F (70kg-75kg) quarter-finals, losing 43-2.
Nur Syaza Insyirah Binte Md Roslan lost to Malaysia’s Nur Syazeera Hidayah Idris in the women’s Tanding B (50kg-55kg) quarter-finals, with a score of 48-14.

Shanti Pereira set a new national and SEA Games record after racing to the gold medal in the women’s 200m final with her timing of 22.69s. The timing was also a new personal best for her.
In the same event, Elizabeth-Ann Tan clocked 24.03s, finishing in fifth place.
In the Men’s 200m Final, Mark Lee Ren came in fifth place out of eight, with a timing of 21.48s. Mark had earlier clocked a new personal best timing of 21.44s in the heats.
In the Women’s 5000m Final, Vanessa Lee Ying Zhuang finished in sixth place out of 11, clocking in a timing of 18:02.52. The timing was her new personal best.
In the Men’s Pole Vault Final, Koh Wei Shien and Low Jun Yu had no height (NH), and failed to clear all the bars set during the Final.
Badminton
In the team events quarter-finals, the men’s team defeated Philippines 3-1 while the women’s team beat Vietnam 3-0.
The men’s team will play Indonesia in the semi-finals, while the women’s team will play against Thailand in the semi-finals. Both games will take place on May 10.
Billiard Sports
In the semi-finals of the men’s English Billiard singles event, Peter Gilchrist defeated Thailand’s Praput Chaithanasakun with a score of 3-2. He will face Myanmar’s Pauk Sa tomorrow in the finals.
Peter had earlier defeated Vietnam’s Kien Nguyen Trung 3-0 in the quarter-finals. At the same stage, Karthik Ramasawy lost 3-0 against Thailand’s Yuttapop Pakpoj.
In the men’s 9-Ball Pool singles pre-quarters, Aloysius Yapp defeated Thailand’s Tepwin Arannath, with a score of 9-1 and advanced into the quarter-finals, which will be held tomorrow.

In the Men’s 50m Backstroke Finals, Quah Zheng Wen clinched the bronze medal following a third place finish with a timing of 25.61 seconds. Zachary Ian Tan came in sixth with a timing of 26.70 seconds.
Zheng Wen qualified for the finals with a second place finish in the heats. Zachary qualified with a sixth place finish.
In the Women’s 50m Backstroke, Faith Elizabeth Khoo came in fourth out of eight with a timing of 29.51 seconds. Bonnie Yeo Lu-Anne came in sixth out of eight, clocking in 29.94 seconds.
Earlier in the heats, Bonnie finished fourth out of 15 while Faith came in behind at fifth place, clocking in 29.83 and 29.93 seconds respectively.
In the Men’s 50m Freestyle Finals, Jonathan Tan Eu Jin clinched Singapore’s first gold medal following a first place finish out of 21 with a timing of 21.95 seconds, setting himself a new, national record, SEA Games record and personal best.
Teong Tzen Wei won the silver medal following a second placed finish, clocking in 22.50 seconds.
In the heats, Jonathan had come in first place with 21.92 seconds while Tzen Wei finished second with 22.50 seconds.

In the Women’s 200m Freestyle Finals, Gan Ching Hwee finished in first place out of 14, clinching the gold medal with a timing of 2:01.76. Chan Zi Yi won the bronze medal after coming in third and set herself a new personal best with a timing of 2:02.94.
Ching Hwee qualified for the finals with a first place finish (2:04.20) in the heats. Zi Yi finished behind her in second place with a timing of 2:04.88.
In the Men’s 100m Breaststroke Finals, Nicholas Rui Karsten Mahabir clinched the silver medal after coming in second place out of 14 with a timing of 1:01.22. Maximillian Ang Wei won the bronze medal with a timing of 1:02.21.
Nicholas finished first out of 14 while Maximillian finished 5th in the heats, clocking in timings of 1:01.98 and 1:02.99 respectively. They both qualified for the finals.
In the Women’s 200m Individual Medley Finals, Letitia Sim En Yi won the gold medal after coming in first place out of 11, setting herself a new national record and personal best with a timing of 2:14.49.
Quah Jing Wen clinched the bronze medal after finishing in third place, clocking in at a timing of 2:16.39.
Earlier in the heats, Jing Wen came in third place out of 11 while Sim finished in fifth place, clocking in timings of 2:19.54 and 2:20.68 respectively.
In the Men’s 4x200m Freestyle Final, Jonathan Tan Eu Jin, Glen Lim Jun Wei, Ardi Zulhilmi Bin Mohamed Azman and Darren Chua Yi Shou won the silver medal after finishing in second place out of six.

Siti Nazurah Binte Mohamed Yusoff (women’s tunggal) lost to Indonesian Puspa Arum Sari in the semi finals. She scored 9.910 points and won the joint bronze medal.
Muhammad Iqbal Bin Abdul Rahman (men’s tunggal) fell to Cambodia’s Soem Sokdevid, scoring 9.935 points and won the joint Bronze medal.
Amirah binte Sahrin, Iffah Batrisyia Binte Noh and Nur Ashikin Binte Zulkifli (all women’s regu) defeated Brunei in the final, scoring 9.955 points and achieving the gold medal.

Josephine Ann Pan Yi Hui (women’s singles round robin) lost to Vietnam’s Thi Hong Thoa Thai and Laos’s Souksada SiliChanh, with scores of 11 – 6 and 13-7 respectively.

Ong Jia Jun (men’s 6-Red Snooker Singles) fell to Myanmar’s Nay Min Tun in the preliminary round, with a score of 5-2. The loss means that Singapore failed to qualify for the pre-quarter round.
Indoor Volleyball
The men’s team beat Myanmar 3-0, qualifying them for the 5th place match which will be held next Monday.

Noah Lim Tian Run lost to the Philippines’s Lim Marc Alexander Foronda in the semi finals of the men’s Ne-Waza Nogi 69kg, with a score of 9-2. He did not advance to the final and picked up the joint bronze medal.
Tang Yong Siang finished 1st out of five in the men’s Ne-Waza Nogi 56kg Round Robin. Despite this, Singapore won the silver medal based on their head-to-head record against Vietnam.
Teh May Yong finished 5th out of five in the women’s Ne-Waza Nogi 52kg Round Robin.

Singapore suffered a 3-0 defeat to Vietnam in the finals of the Mixed League of Legends: Wild Rift (Mobile) lower bracket. Despite not advancing to the final, Singapore won the joint bronze medal.

After finishing 3rd and 7th out of 12 in the heats, with timings of 2:06.45 and 2:07.58 respectively, both swimmers qualified for the finals.
In the Men’s 100m Freestyle Finals, Jonathan Tan Eu Jin won the gold medal after finishing first out of eight with a timing of 48.80 seconds. This is also a new personal best.
Quah Zheng Wen clinched the silver medal after coming in second place, with a timing of 48.99 seconds. He also set a new personal best.
Jonathan and Zheng Wen had qualified for the finals after coming in first and fourth place, with timings of 49.25 and 51.04 seconds respectively, in the heats.

Velvan Tan Jui Jie (men’s 67kg) defeated Cambodia’s Penh Vanthung in the quarter finals with a score of 3 – 2. He advanced to the semi finals and will compete against the Philippines’s Norlan Alcayde Petecio, which will be held next Wednesday.
Indoor Hockey
The men’s team were defeated by Thailand with a score of 4-1, resulting in Singapore’s final ranking as 4th out of six and winning the joint bronze medal.
The women’s team also faced Thailand and pulled a 2-2 draw, finishing 5th out of six.
Football
The men’s team ended up with a goalless draw against Laos, which puts both countries at the bottom of Group B. Singapore will face Malaysia next on Thursday.
The Lionesses fell to a 1-0 defeat by hosts Cambodia, and will face Laos on Tuesday.

The men’s team won the Philippines 3-0, putting them 3rd out of four in Group A. They will compete in the 5th to 8th playoffs on Sunday.

The men’s team beat Philippines 181-94 in the T20 Round Robin. The win takes them to the top of Group B with two points.
Football
Singapore suffered their second straight defeat with a 3-1 loss to defending gold medallists Vietnam. Nguyen Van Tung, Nguyen Thai Song scored in the first half to give the Vietnamese a two-goal lead heading into the break, before an own goal from Ilhan Noor made it 3-0 late in the second half.
An own goal from Vu Tien Long in stoppage time gave the Young Lions a consolation goal.
Singapore will next play Laos on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Lionesses suffered a 4-0 defeat to five-time gold medalists Thailand.
The Thais broke the deadlock in the 5th minute through Saowalak Pengngam. This was followed by more goals in the 18th, 26th and 66th minute, which were scored by Orapin Waenngoen, Nipawan Panyosuk and Warunee Phetwiset respectively.
