Taylor Swift is the second big act announced to perform at the National Stadium in 2024, after award-winning pop rock band Coldplay’s record breaking six-night lineup in January.
This comes after the Government took over the Singapore Sports Hub, which the National Stadium is part of.
“We have worked hard to bring more Singaporeans to the Hub, and also build up a strong pipeline of world-class marque events in entertainment, lifestyle and sports. Taylor Swift’s only-in-Singapore concert is an example of the calibre of events we want to offer to Singaporeans and tourists alike,” said Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Edwin Tong in a social media post sharing the announcement of Eras tour.
“I am confident that we will continue to build on this strong momentum to secure Singapore’s Sports Hub as Asia’s leading destination for entertainment, sports and more.”
