If you were at Tanjong East Coast on the night of Jan 1, you might have spotted some bright light installations.

From 9.15pm to 10.30pm that night, the checkpoint of the beach was decorated with colourful rainbow lights.

The light installation, called Very Momentary Exhibition, was set up by the local art collective Very Small Exhibition.

The last-minute exhibition was nearly cancelled due to the rain, but the show went on. Visitors were spotted strolling through the lights.

If you didn’t know, Very Small Exhibition was behind the stairwell decoration of a HDB block in Canberra on last year’s Christmas Eve.

They also have a light installation at Science Centre, which ends on Jan 3.

They usually announce their upcoming installations on their Facebook and Instagram accounts five days before, so if you wish to catch their next work, be sure to keep yourself updated!
