Takashimaya’s Chinese New Year Fair returns with over 30 brands

Christmas mood is over, which means it is time to get ready for the Chinese New Year. 

This year, CNY falls on Feb 1 and as always, Takashimaya is having their annual Chinese New Year Festive Celebration. 

The fair, which runs from Dec 28 to Jan 30., will be held at Takashimaya’s Food Hall and Talking Hall at Basement 1 and 2 of Ngee Ann City. With over 30 brands and 300 cookies and snacks to choose from, you’ll definitely be spoilt for choice!

Classic Chinese New Year goodies such as pineapple tarts, Bakkwa, Kueh Lapis and egg tarts will be available much thanks to popular brands like Bee Cheng Hiang, Bengawan Solo, Kee Wah Bakery and Tai Cheong Bakery.

If you’re one to avoid crowds, you can still browse the selection via their online shop which is open from now till Jan 21. 

There are also several online-exclusive brands such as Ichiran, Baker’s Oven and Kim’s Noodles.
