Local ramen brand Takagi Ramen is launching a Chilli Crab Matcha Macchiato drink on Apr 15. The franchise has clarified in its Facebook post that this is not a prank.
Its new macchiato drink series will include the Chilli Crab Matcha Macchiato with Coconut Juice, Chilli Crab Matcha Macchiato with Fresh Milk, and Milk Foam Macchiato.
According to Takagi Ramen, the chilli crab-flavoured milk foams are all made of real chilli crab sauce.

While more known for its ramen dishes, Takagi Ramen has other unique-flavoured beverages as well, such as a Japanese tea with a salty milk foam and collagen, and milk green tea infused with the sweetness of Japanese candy.
The new macchiato series is priced at $5.90 each and can be purchased at Takagi Ramen outlets.
