Members of the public can participate in over 250 activities at this year’s Go Green SG, more than double the number of activities last year.

Go Green SG is a whole-of-nation movement to rally citizens, organisations, and the community to take collective action towards a more environmentally sustainable and climate-resilient Singapore.

This year’s offerings include internal activities to promote sustainability within organisations, as well as external activities for members of the public – which are now open for registration.

Behind-the-scenes sustainability tours, learning journeys, workshops, youth activities, promotions, green challenges and events such as performances and flea markets are some of the activities that will be open to the public.

There will also be access to facilities that are not typically open to the public such as the Singapore Food Agency (SFA)’s Marine Aquaculture Centre and the National Environment Agency (NEA)’s Project Wolbachia mosquito production facility.

In support of Go Green SG, more than 50 corporates, including Amazon Web Services, City Developments Limited, DBS, foodpanda and Grab Singapore, will also organise more than 100 activities for the public to take part in.

The public can also curate their own Go Green experiences, based on individual lifestyles, personal interests, and goals.

To find out more about the different programmes or to register interest, members of the public can visit the Go Green SG website.

In line with Go Green SG, NEA will also launch its Clean & Green Singapore (CGS) Experiences programme in July, ahead of the traditional October to November period. The number of sites open for visits will also increase to 16.

CGS Experiences offer complimentary learning journeys to sites of environmental interest, where the public can learn more about Singapore’s sustainability journey and is a key component of the annual Clean & Green Singapore campaign. This includes various ground activities to encourage the public to adopt good public health and eco-friendly lifestyle practices.
