Sundown Festival to be held Aug 12-13; featuring R3HAB, Tosh Zhang, Ivy Lee
Festival-goers may also enjoy a pop-up food village at the event.
A total of 15 local and international acts are set to perform at this year’s Sundown Festival on Aug 12 and 13.
Presented by Skechers, the festival will be held at the Pasir Panjang Power Station. The festival’s special guest, R3HAB, is a multi-platinum DJ and producer who will spin dance music at the event.
The music event will take place for two days as compared to last year’s run, which was a one-day only affair.
The artist lineup for the first day of the event includes local acts such as Iman Fandi, Zadon, Tosh Zhang and Glenn Yong. Hailing from Thailand and Taiwan are rappers Jarvis and OSN. Italian DJ duo Vinai, Malaysian band 3P and American DJ Kim Lee will also showcase their sets.
Day two will see Malaysian songstress Ivy Lee, Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao and Japanese guitarist Miyavi take the stage. Additionally, South Korean singer Shaun and Malaysian rapper Namewee will perform.
Festival-goers may also get a quick snack fix at the pop-up food village, which will feature food from various cultures. The food and beverage prices range from $2 to $20.
The site will be open to visitors from 5pm to 1am for both days of the festival.
Advance tickets are currently available for purchase. Interested visitors may choose to get one-day or two-day passes at $138 and $228 respectively. VIP tickets are also available in four categories with exclusive access to a lounge, bar, viewing area and restroom.
Ticket holders have the option to print their tickets for entry into festival grounds, or have a QR code sent to their mobiles. Wrist tags will also be given out upon identification checks, so visitors are advised to bring their IDs.
The minimum age requirement to attend the festival is 16 years old. More information about the artists and FAQs can be accessed via Sundown Festival’s website.
