Street Fighter tournament CAPCOM Pro Tour 2023 to include in-person Singapore stop; held at Suntec Oct 20-22
The winner of the tournament will receive prize money of $15,000 and the chance to compete in a world tournament.
Video game company Capcom will hold one of its Capcom Pro Tour (CPT) 2023 Offline Premiere tournaments in Singapore from Oct 20 to 22. The tournament is centred on Street Fighter 6, a fighting game developed by Capcom.
The event will take place during computer and video game festival Gamescom Asia at the Suntec Exhibition and Convention Centre. Visitors can expect to visit the Entertainment Zone, which will showcase trending games and interactive entertainment. Areas with indies, esports, cosplay, board games and group play zones will also be featured.
Other than receiving prize money of $15,000, the winner of the CPT 2023 Offline Premiere will also qualify for the CAPCOM CUP X – a world tournament organised by Capcom to determine the strongest player of Street Fighter 6.
Qualifiers of the CAPCOM CUP X will compete for the top prize of $1,000,000.
Interested participants may register for the CPT 2023 Offline Premiere via start.gg by 4pm on Oct 25. The event is limited to 1,024 registrants.
The next offline premiere will take place in France at the Paris Games Week from Nov 3 to 5.
