Street culture enthusiasts can look forward to street culture convention Culture Cartel 2022 which will be held from Dec 1 to 4 at *SCAPE Singapore.

The convention was held virtually in 2020 and underwent a hiatus in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since its inception in 2018, the street culture convention aims to create a “holistic education and engaging” street culture showcase through local and international street artists, designers, tattoo artists and urban street brands.

Celebrating its fourth edition, the convention will play host to exclusive convention merchandise, music performances, competitions, panel discussions, giveaways and raffle draws of limited-edition bundles and drops.

There will also be artistes set to headline the convention for the first time.

Fashion enthusiasts can look forward to music collective and apparel imprint Yeti Out. They will collaborate with Heineken Silver on a “special capsule collection of merchandise” that will only be available exclusively at the convention.

Attendees can also catch Matt Gondek at panel talks. Hailing from Los Angeles, the “deconstructive pop artist” draws inspiration from American pop culture, including The Simpsons and Mickey Mouse, and turns them into “fine art with a visceral pop colour palette and a disarmingly playful tone”.

Also making its convention debut is The Wicked Wallop, a local automotive lifestyle event and community. Attendees can look forward to its showcase of a “wide range” of local and international classic and custom vehicles.

Culture Cartel 2022 will span from Dec 1 to 4. The convention will run from 1pm to 10pm on the first day and 11am to 10pm for the remaining days.

Standard one-day tickets are priced at $25 and four-day tickets are priced at $69. These can be purchased till Nov 30.

Attendees can also purchase one-day door tickets at the convention for $30.
