On Thursday, Jun 17, the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced that all employees and tenants at several shops in Redhill and Tiong Bahru will be tested for COVID-19 after cases were detected among those who had been there.

Additionally, members of the public who visited Tiong Bahru Yong Tao Hu Coffeeshop at 56 Eng Hoon Street between Jun 7 and Jun 14, 2021, will be offered free COVID-19 tests.

MOH said that it is currently investigating cases of COVID-19 infection among individuals who work in or had visited blocks 78, 79, 80, 84 and 85 Redhill Lane, 86 Redhill Close, 18 Jalan Membina and the Tiong Bahru Yong Tao Hu Coffeeshop.

The ministry also said that special testing operations for staff and tenants who work at these places would disrupt any wider and undetected community transmission.

Free testing will be available to those who had visited Redhill Lane and Redhill close between Jun 1 and Jun 15. For those who visited 18 Jalan Membina, free testing will be offered to those who were there between Jun 9 and Jun 15. Those who were at Tiong Bahru Yong Tao Hu Coffeeshop in Eng Hoon Street between Jun 7 and Jun 14 will also be offered free testing.

Visitors who had been to the affected places on the specified dates should minimise social interaction for 14 days and see the doctor if they are feeling unwell.
