Final Fantasy fans rejoice, because Square Enix has just announced two new mobile Final Fantasy games that are set to drop within the next two years!

The first game, Final Fantasy 7 The First Soldier, puts you in the boots of a soldier fighting for survival in a battle-royale-style arena against other players.

A mix of both the classic Final Fantasy combat style and a third-person shooter, the events of the game are set to take place 30 years prior to the events of Final Fantasy 7.

Set to release this year on iOS and Android, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for its release!

The second game, titled Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis, takes on a different tone.

A single-player game that is set to span across the entire Final Fantasy 7 timeline, it follows a structured chapter-based story system instead of a free-flowing battle royale like The First Soldier.

As it takes place across the entire Final Fantasy 7 timeline, this means that all the events of Final Fantasy 7, Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus will be covered.

Set for release in 2022 for both IOS and Android, fans will, unfortunately, have to wait a little longer for this one.

So buckle up and get ready for more adventures in the Final Fantasy universe!
