Are you ready, kids? Nickelodeon has just released its first teaser trailer for the upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants spin-off series, The Patrick Star Show

Produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios, the 13-episode animated series is set to premiere on Nickelodeon this July.

The spinoff will star young Patrick Star as he unveils his wild imaginations and hosts his own variety show for the neighbourhood.

His little sister, Squidina, works as the show-runner to ensure his variety show runs smoothly, while his parents and grandpa show their support in ridiculous ways.

Bill Fagerbakke, who is part of the original SpongeBob cast, will return to voice Patrick Star. The show will also feature other veteran voices of the series including Tom Kenny as SpongeBob SquarePants, Rodger Bumpass as Squidward Tentacles and Carolyn Lawrence as Sandy Cheeks.

New voice cast members also include Tom Wilson as Cecil, Cree Summer as Bunny and Jill Talley as Squidina.

Marc Ceccarelli, Vincent Waller and Jennie Monica will also return as co-executive producers of the animated series.

The Patrick Star Show is the franchise’s second spin-off series following Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years which was released earlier this year.
