We have finally been given a teaser to the much anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home, the third installment in the Spider-Man franchise under Marvel.

The sequel to 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, will see Peter Parker having to deal with his newfound fame after having his identity exposed.

The movie will see a familiar return to the big screen for veteran villains, such as Dr. Octopus (whose last appearance was in 2004’s Spider-Man 2) and Green Goblin (last featured in the original 2002 Spider-Man movie).

Dr. Strange, played by fan-favourite Benedict Cumberbatch, also features in the movie as he helps Peter navigate through the uncertainties of his new role in the public eye.

Well what is in the trailer?

For starters, we see Dr. Strange casting an electrifying spell, a sinking New York City and a not-so-subtle use of a pumpkin bomb – Green Goblin’s weapon of choice.

Slated for a Dec 16 release, the latest Spider-Man movie and perhaps, Marvel’s biggest cinematic event since Avengers: Endgame, will be the 27th edition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

With heavy speculation that this movie might contain elements of the Spider-Verse and the fact that it will tie in to 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, we just might be able to see the popular Spider-Man meme recreated for the big screens.
