Skechers launches Pokémon-themed sneaker collection featuring Gen I characters
There are three designs each for men and women, four designs for girls and two for boys.
Fans saddened by Ash Ketchum’s departure from the Pokémon franchise can look back on the memories with Skechers’ new Pokémon-themed sneaker collection for both adults and kids.
Launched on Thursday (Dec 29), the collection pays homage to Pokémon from the original Kanto region including Pikachu, Charizard, Snorlax and Mew.
The collection consists of three designs each for women and men, four designs for girls and two for boys. The shoes also include a depiction of the Pokémon located on the back.
Adults need not look further than the Skechers’ Pokémon Sport Court 92 sneakers. According to Skechers, it is designed with a smooth leather upper, including the toe, sides and heel panel, and an embossed logo on the side.
The sneakers also feature an Air-Cooled Memory Foam insole for comfort, and retail at $119 each.

For children, girls can choose from two designs under the Skechers’ Pokémon Sweetheart Lights at $89 each, and two designs under the Skechers’ Pokémon D’Lites 4.0 at $99 each. Boys can look forward to the Skechers’ Monster For Boys featuring Pikachu and Charizard designs, retailing at $79 each.
The collection is now available at selected outlets including 313@somerset, Bugis Junction, Compass One, Great World, Jem, Jewel Changi Airport, Junction 8, Jurong Point, NEX, Northpoint City, Paragon, Parkway Parade, Plaza Singapura, Suntec City, Tampines 1, VivoCity and Wisma Atria.
It will also be available on Skechers’ website, as well as Shopee and Lazada.
