Singapore’s highest open-air panoramic ride SkyHelix Sentosa to open on Dec 15
Local tourism is gradually recovering as Singapore pivots itself to become a more COVID-resilient nation.
Standing at 40m tall at the Imbiah Lookout Zone, the SkyHelix Sentosa is Singapore’s highest open-air panoramic ride and will be the first carbon-neutral attraction to open on Sentosa this Dec 15.
Previously set to open in early 2022, the attraction is launching ahead of schedule just in time for the school holidays and year-end celebrations, as well as to boost local tourism as Singapore continues to establish more Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL) with other countries.
As the gondola ride gently rotates 35m above the ground around the vertical helix-like structure, guests can enjoy a breathtaking 360° view of Sentosa and the developing Greater Southern Waterfront with a drink in their hands and feet dangling in the air from one of the highest vantage points on Sentosa.
