Singapore’s first plant-based ready-to-eat pizza slice debuts in 7Eleven
The pizza slice consisting of Omni Luncheon will be available from May 25 to Jul 6 only.
OmniFoods has launched its first ready-to-eat plant-based pizza slice at 7Eleven from May 25 to Jul 6.
The pizza slice is filled with 100 per cent plant-based Omni Luncheon and a Mala sauce which adds a kick of spice to the dish. It is topped off with cheese and Mala peppercorns.
This is a collaboration between OmniFoods, Alfredo and 7Eleven, with the goal of making plant-based food more accessible and affordable.
Omni Luncheon was first introduced by OmniFoods in November 2020 and has since been widely utilised as a meat substitute in a variety of cuisines. It is made of soy, wheat, beet, and coconut oil, and is high in protein.
As part of the launch, the pizza slice will retail at $2.80 from May 25 to Jun 7 before returning to its original price of $3.
The ready-to-eat pizza slice is offered at all 400 7Eleven stores islandwide.
