Singapore’s first outdoor treasure hunt in the Civic District allows players to reimagine cultural icons from a futuristic point of view

Singapore’s first outdoor treasure hunt in the Civic District incorporates technology into its gameplay for players to reimagine the area from a futuristic and fun perspective. 

The game is called Time Heist: Civic District as part of a collaboration between Sight Lines Entertainment, Double Confirm Productions, and Civic District Alliance, and makes use of a virtual theatre to create an immersive experience.

The plot of the treasure hunt follows players as Time Agents in the year 2055 trying to stop a syndicate of time bandits from destroying monuments in the Civic District, such as the Asian Civilisations Museum and the National Gallery.

Notable names in the local entertainment industry such as Munah Bagharib and Hossan Leong also star in the treasure hunt as they help bring its plot to life.

The game engages players with live elements and plot twists related to real-world locations as they solve puzzles and complete side quests while learning about the Civic District and hunting for QR codes hidden in the area.

The standard tickets for Time Heist: Civic District cost $40 for one person, $50 for two people and $54 for three. The VIP package costs $100 per person with a minimum of four pax.

The VIP Package includes passes to the game, a specially crafted cocktail or mocktail by Smoke and Mirrors, and culinary exploration into Peranakan fare with the Time Heist Set Dinner at National Kitchen by Violet Oon.

Upon completion of the treasure hunt, players can also stand a chance to win a 2D1N stay at Marina Bay Sands. More information about the rewards can be found here.
