Singapore’s first maxi drift bumper cars launched at Timezone Jurong Point, along with additional games
Timezone Jurong Point, the second biggest outlet in Singapore, now has over 130 games.
Beep beep! Bumper car enthusiasts can now look forward to Singapore’s first maxi drift game.
Launched at Timezone Jurong Point on Friday (Sep 1), there are 10 high-speed drift cars available, which can be driven on a 11m by 20m track.
Each drift car has a steel base and is equipped with safety belts. It can accommodate up to two passengers, who can drive the cars freely, with full control of speed and direction by hitting or releasing the accelerator.
The drift cars have also undergone a meticulous review for installation and operation by Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority.
Together with the bumper cars, Timezone has also launched three other games at the Jurong Point outlet – precision-based games Break the Plate and Over the Edge, and racing game Hyper Cross.
In addition, Timezone has also introduced a new technology that allows guests to add the Timezone Powercard to their digital wallet. This will allow them to tap their phones onto games’ scanners to start playing games, rather than requiring the physical card.
Visitors can enjoy a one-week promotion from Sep 4 to 10 at Timezone Jurong Point to celebrate the launch of the new games.
Players will receive game credits worth $80 and a drift car pass for the price of $40. Alternatively, game credits worth $120 and two drift car passes are available for $60.
